  1. Nevermind, saw the answer a few pages on!
  2. So my latest surprise is that we on the flagship Inspire Plus now only get R1,000 worth of Woolies vouchers, where we got R3,000 last year. Great product this Multiply of 2024.... On Multiply Inspire Plus and Engage Plus a monthly grocery spend limit of R1 000 applies to the main member, R500 to the partner and each adult dependant, and R250 for each registered child dependant.
  3. So the latest surprise for me is, in my instance I am the only one on the medical aid as well. So I was totally aware that I only can go onto the Inspire plus, but I understood that my wife, that was on my Multiply family package, would be locked in/stay on Multiply Premier. And so she did, until the end of January. Now, nothing. She cannot join Multiply premier, she does not stay there, she is just booted.... The only way for her to get rewards/benefits from multiply, is I have to go down to Multiply premier. I see within the next month one or two Momentum products is going to be cancelled. This has been coming for a WHILE and there is a few that does not make sense anymore and is also not worth the effort anymore...
  4. The life is the one I am concerned about, but cannot see that or if the fitnesse assessment will be necessary
  5. If you have medical, multiply, life and short term with them…. Is it still necessary to do a health and fitness assessment? Where do they play a role? Trying to figure out if it is necessary or worth it
  6. So with all the products unbundled, the Health part does nothing more for life insurance discount etc, WRT healthy hearts etc etc So what does leave on the Health (medical aid) part. The medical aid, health returns and Dischem vouchers? What other benefits is there left there?
  7. Has anybody figured out what we need to do as yet?
  8. Look at Brooks Cascadia and Saucony Peregrine as well
  9. So another cool surprise is it seems that all the weekly wins, which we use for Dischem, expired on 31/12. So in our case we now lost R450 worth of Dischem weekly wins between myself and my wife while we are on holiday and were only going to spend it this coming weekend.
  10. Jip. Phoned them as well.
  11. So only the people who are on medical aid can go onto the new myltiply. So the rest of my family (4) cannot be on multiply anymore as they are on my wifes government medical aid.
  12. I haven’t had the time to work through this year’s 1001 Multiply changes as yet, but I see we have till 31/12 to choose if you move over to Multiply Inspire Plus. I presume we don’t really have a choice and that is what we should do? PS: getting tired of this yearly changes and changes and changes….
  13. Just a general Momentum comment. Normally everything they changes goes wrong the first month or two of the year, this year has been especially terrible on all levels, that has not even been changed and we are sitting at the beginning of the 4th month. I'm talking safe days, weekly wins and monthly wins, active days, etc etc. The part that is terrible is the support, normally their support to sort out the issues was great and speedy, now I am sitting with issues that has been reported almost a month back and resend and resend and still not resolved. You do not get resolutions, but not even any feedback. Multiply say Insure handles things, Insure says sorry Multiply handles it. The Momentum service as a whole is not up to standard this year!
  14. Yup, I was racking up the non safe days due to speeding @ 100km/h with my caravan on the N1 during the holiday. Also one BULL cornering incident per day on one of my wife's two daily trips causes her to have a daily non safe day, whilst all the other sections is in the 90%.... So over this!!!! And we have not even come to the Myriad Discount screwing that we will get this year...
  15. Saturday morning whilst having our morning coffee in bed, my wife's phone notified her that momentum has stated monitoring her journey.... The same app that does not even start when she logs into the app and when it does, it does not recognise the journeys as she does not drive faster than 20km/h apparently. So we had breakfast etc etc and went to town at 09:20. So now this wonderful app of momentum gives her a 54% score on this trip and that causes ANOTHER non safe day, as she was on her phone. (We also had some terrible driving in our bedroom as well apparently, as she only scored 25 for cornering, 12 for acceleration and 50 for braking) This trip that the momentum app registers from 06:48 - 09:29, 162 minutes and 7.97km.... So the same app does not mind her to "drive" slower than 20km/h on Saturday mornings it seems. Yet, the problem is with your phone and your phones gps and signal etc etc PS: Not one of the real trips we had on Saturday morning on my phone was under 90% as I drove like my great grandfather to see what it does!
  16. I was thinking I was the only one with this issue. Ever since they introduced this new system mid November everything is SCREWED!!!! You will not believe your eyes if I share some of the nonsense. Iphone I get penalised for cornering on almost every trip, no matter what I do. This morning I got a 24% cornering score for the corner I took 10m from my boys day care, with a string of mothers being parked their offloading their babies. You would swear I went around that corner or two wheels and Ace Ventura parked right in between moms and babies. That BS (excuse the French for the lack of a better word) 24% now causes a non safe travel day. Hauwei My wife drives to our boys' swimming class. He does his swimming class for more than half an hour, she is on her phone ONLY during that time since we know what this app does, drives home. It records it as ONE trip and penalises her for being on her phone! Yet, she cannot get the app to record trips on her phone without logging into the app and even then it records perhaps 1 out of 5 trips. The rest nothing or speed to low. But when she walks around at work or at home, it automatically records trips? Yet, despite me mailing all of these with the proofs to Momentum, they just shrug their shoulders. With all these screwing going on and all these headaches to try and still get some incentives, I am growing VERY close to get out of the Momentum basket after almost 20 years from the start. Can all the other options also be so poor?
  17. Has anybody bought the Quickfit bands for the Fenix 3 (and 5 etc)? I'm in need of a replacement band and wondering if the price of these quickfit bands does it justice compared to the R200-R400 bands you get on takelot? PS: I can get the quickfit 26mm bands for R600, which is still a lot, but my experience with the takelot cheapies are that they are just not the originals!
  18. So R250 per R1,000 premium worse off then. This will cost me a heck of a lot in life insurance premiums! You get 5% discount if you have a regular debit order in place, that is more important than being fit and healthy right. Problem is I don't think there is better opposition, but Momentum has really cut the advantages thinner and thinner each year.
  19. In short, although the long-term protected discount is somewhat lower compared to that attainable on the 2022 Multiply Premier discount grid, it will be available without you having to fulfil the standard Multiply discount requirements such as paying membership fees, doing annual health and fitness activities and acquiring active days. This will effectively provide you with long-term premium certainty, for less cost and effort. Less cost and effort you say, but you still have to do the fitness assessment for starters to be able to qualify for the lovely 40%: Tier 3: You need to have done a fitness assessment with a MaxFit result in 2021, 2022 and 2023. I fail to see the less cost and effort, but I clearly spot the 20% more in premiums!
  20. Myriad is (was) the biggest draw for me as well. What is left of the advantages at least. They send an email. I attach the one file, the other is too big, 7mb 2023 Long-term_protected_discount_client_communication_V2.pdf
  21. So unless I miss something big, another year, another opportunity to screw us more.... Max discount on life insurance drops from 60% to 40%. In short, although the long-term protected discount is somewhat lower compared to that attainable on the 2022 Multiply Premier discount grid, it will be available without you having to fulfil the standard Multiply discount requirements
  22. If you are a programmer and can assist them yes. Their weekly wins and monthly wins is still a mess. It does not pull through correctly and does not issue the treats sometimes. Safe dayz decides when it works and when not. And to top it all their systems screwed up our fitness discounts end of January and did us in with 10% on 3 life insurance and income protection policies premiums.
