  1. Crazy Saucony deals on onedayonly
  2. If Jim continues with this average he will do the kms in two months that I do in a year! Last 4 Weeks Avg Distance / Week - 196.6 km Avg Time / Week - 13h 51m Avg Runs / Week - 10 Distance - 1,473.3 km Time - 105h 52m Elev Gain - 15,828 m Runs - 76
  3. Everything does seem like it is not as smooth sailing as per norm. Entries, sponsors, communication, expo..... 58km, is it because Gerda would've broken the record this year and they don't have the cash?
  4. Thanks. The more things change the more they stay the same, each year!
  5. Has anybody received their Healthreturns as yet or is this month late again?
  6. Weekly Wins. I see the more you do the more you get screwed again? I'm up to 5 activities per week now to earn a wimpy hot drink...
  7. I need to get my apps in order for Tom tom that will not pull through to Multiply directly but only via Strava from the end of this month. Where in Strava can I see that it pulls from Tom Tom?
  8. Brand new. I also thought it should just be the fatigue on C day and the harder marathon.
  9. Any advice for calf cramps please? Of late I started to feel my calves during and after my runs and during last years Comrades I struggled with it and also this past weekends marathon. I am able to walk it off and go on, but it is on the limit the whole time then, biting the whole time. My calves are always tight and sore as well. I have never struggled with cramps before and always run the long stuff with Hammer endurolytes fizz and extreme tablets and I lean towards over hydrate, not dehydrate I did run this marathon harder than normally, so I do keep that in mind, but the weather was cold and perfect. Is there perhaps something that I might be missing to add to my diet, exercise or running nutrition? It is not a train smash, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something small perhaps.
  10. Thanks for the feedback, please do so long term again. The cascadia and peregrine (especially the 10's according to reviews) keeps on bugging me to try them...
  11. I like this one... https://twitter.com/MirandaBoonstra/status/1224984677674553347

  13. Anybody here run with Brooks Cascadia's? They seem to catch my eye more and more of late.
  14. Is there a verdict on the LONG runs in the comrades training program regarding a single run or back to back, or is there more than one way to do it? The scenario. The beginning of May final long run, say 50km's. Should that be done in one go on tar, or will time on your feet also be the same? Divided over two days to complicate it more, lets say you do a 24km lots of elevation ("time on your feet") trail run the one day and follow it up with another +-30km gravel road run the next day?
  15. This looks fantastic, thanks! Where did you stay if I may ask?
  16. Well, this will be nonsense if indeed so!!!
  17. The last two months... So first they discontinued their pedometer as it does not gel with that app etc anymore. So I moved over to a tom tom have lying around for my daily steps. Then they discontinue the tom tom link and you have to pull it via strava from March. Then they come with this today. I am not the happiest about Momentum and their technical sides currently.
  18. I got one linked (not sure it will pull through?), but the other two profiles of our family this happens, we cannot link nothing and keep on getting errors. Also Garmin!
  19. Edit: so you have a weekly wins target, it is the 0/3 on your dashboard. For example 3 active days per week then to get a weekly win
  20. Correct. With the vivofits you are on a 1,000 steps just for waking up, going to the loo, getting dressed and going for breakfast. But as you say, they seem to just last their 12 months!
  21. These guys are nuts! https://www.instagram.com/p/B7lxG_anrPT/
  22. Also, if you are stuck behind a desk the whole day, 300 calories is easier to do than 10,000 steps.
  23. I am certain I explained it enough in the quoted post. If he is your cup of tea, good then, taste differs.
  24. So... Maxed merchandise this year at Comrades.
  25. Lets just say I'm more the R Feferer kind of fan than the Walmsley type of fan. True champs stay humble in my books. This type of attitudes does not speak to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52n2ZFoQzNE But that takes nothing away from his brilliance, he has amazing abilities!
