  1. Is this to create laminar air flow or something?? Almost like creating a spiral in your inlet manifold on a cyclinder head to promote a better induction. Hmmm, or maybe not.. (i need my bed)Veloce2009-04-06 12:13:23

  4. Buon Giorno Nancy, I couldn't agree with you more HR - Wishlist, One of my all time faves
  5. Thanks JB, will give it a try now...
  6. The setup: 8 speed sora The Problem: Gear shifting is perfect from the second to smallest sprocket up to the largest sprocket but I cannot shift into the smallest sprocket. The shifter cable is completely loose by this stage so it seems as if the spring tension which returns the derailler to its rest position is a bit light in the pants. If I give it a helping hand by pushing the derailler towards the dropout it then engages the smallest sprocket and stays there. The limit screws are adjusted correctly as a manual operation of the derailler engages all the sprockets. Could the spring tension be a bit weak is something else causing this problem??
  7. BWAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA Thanks, I needed a laugh!!!
  8. I'm not sure I understand the question??
  9. Pipe cutter is the best bet, it automatically tapers the end for you as well. Even better, do it on a lathe, thats how I did mine
  10. PM Johan Bornman. He can build you up a set for 1/10th the cost of factory wheels and you can drive a car over them. Otherwise go for HED stingers. Check out their website. They have the right philosophy, they WANT you to train with their wheels and race with them.
  11. This one, with the cap and sunglasses on.
  12. LOL, you look rather chuffed!!
  13. Kewl Nance, you got a shot of me in the water by the floating bridge. Veloce2009-03-13 04:00:41
  14. Can anybody please explain the difference between Shimano's chain heirachy to me. I see no difference on their website between the HG 53 (Deore) HG 73 (LX) and the HG 93 (XT). They are all the same weight so there are no fancy o-rings or anything added, and they all flippen rust just as quickly as the next. I forked out for an HG73 because the website said it was plated but I have noticed no difference between the HG53 - 93 series of chains. Why pay R150 more for an HG93 when an HG53 is the same thing?? Or am I missing something here? Veloce2009-03-11 01:12:52
  15. Hi JB Problem solved. Yes it is the square taper crank leg, but I had the crank puller without a removeable "mushroom" head. Went to my LBS and got a nice puller with an extension (mushroom head) that can be removed for getting into tighter spaces. Sorted, thanks!!
  16. Sounds like fun, I'm keen to join you!!
  17. Where do you ride in Ballito??
  18. Does anyone know where I can get a Campy crank arm puller?? I have the Shimano one and it does NOT fit.
  19. Yup, pretty sure it was that last water table. Come on Linnega, tell us what we've got!!
  20. Both my partner and I are suffering with jippo's. I agree with Linnega, this is a water bug not a food bug.
  21. Also quite funny was team GT trying to hit the bridge at speed. They both landed up in the water and very sheepishly got back on their bikes. That idiot from Jowetts got what he deserved. What the hell was he trying to prove in his attempt to push the other dude off?!?!? The crowd loved every minute of him falling off
  22. Day 1's seeding was a bit of a cock up. We passed "A" batch guys 10km into the ride sweating themselves silly up one of the hills. Days 2 and 3 were perfect as the system sorted itself out after day 1. Definitely the way to go!!
  23. Awesome Grouppo and wheels!!!
