Near Sunset beach traffic lights in the direction of the Diep River bridge 2 manhole covers have been stolen leaving deep holes in the middle of the cycle lane.Saw on fb that somebody was going to report it a few days ago but last night the holes were still not covered. Be careful out there

Be careful at Lagoon Beach traffic lights.Yesterday afternoon it looked like there had been a coming together of two cyclists .One had been coming down the hill and the other must have come from the hotel side and the must have hit each other on the corner. It also scares me when I see guys ramp off the cycle lane to cross at the lights without looking to see what the cars behind are doing.Its lekker but dangerous!!

Driving out of CT CBD along FW De Klerk yesterday afternoon I was surprised at the number of cyclists using that route, instead of the Cycle lane.Really sad state of affairs when you cannot make use of the cycle lane for fear of crime in spite of all the security cameras ,patrols etc

Park in a parking garage and your car will be safe and there will be toilets.CTICC usually have a raceday special price for parking and close enough to start/finish

Was brousing around Big Catch in Paardeneiland on Fri and decided to visit the Fly fishing section. First fly rod I picked up (Asquith) R14 000 .Put it down fast and moved to the reel setion.First reel I looked at R7000 .Moved along swiftly!!! More expensive than cycling!!

Saw the bike bus from Tableview to CT at the Woodbridge lights yesterday morning at about 7am. There must have been 20 riders .Looked like they were having a blast Much respect

Sorry to hear of such a cowardly deed aimed at person of small build.Good to hear some of the homeless guys offered a helping hand.I am sure these same homeless guys suffer at the hands of these skelms.There are cameras all along that route .Would be good to put up a pic of the skelm all over that area,just to scare him off or some jungle justice! I go through there in the dark but ride on the buslane with no lights .Feel the cycle lane to narrow to avoid an ambush. Be safe out there!

Don't think because you are on the cycle lane you are going to be safe.Between Woodbridge and the sewerage pump station a container truck and trailer going towards the harbor jumped the buslane and the oncoming lane and landed in the river pushing a car off the road and on to the river bank.This happened around 3pm .Luckily no cyclists around . A couple of weeks ago a container truck and container overturned at the Woodbridge robots,because he was going to fast when the robots changed Be careful out there

A poacher has gone missing and the protesters claim he was shot by Fisheries Dept.When I got to Houtbay at about 11am there was a factory burning in the harbor but did not seen any protesters.Cycled up the valley and coming down Empire rd an old couple standing outside their house warned me about protesters between the houses,as I passed the burning obstacles I heard the cops shooting and the next moment 2 house were on fire.House targeted belongs to a fisheries inspector.Lady and child held hostage in one of the houses.Not Cool!
