That section through Maitland would scare me with all those taxis and trucks during peak hour and the road is very narrow.

Went home along the cycle track at around 5pm yesterday and there were 4 Metro officers out on the buslane .Big up to the City that works for me

Such a nice afternoon yesterday that I decided to do some extra distance and went to check out the beach at Tableview.On the way back the sun set as I was passing Dolphin Beach and out came the miggies in the millions,making seeing and breathing difficult.Next time I will be prepared with the necessary gear.

When approaching dicey area take the spray off the stem and put it on the outside of glove \hand with a strap going around 4 fingers in case you get seperated from your bike.I would prefer gel mixed with some dye

I feel your pain ,also hit a pavement .Took 3 months to discover fracture .In total 7 months to repair.Best of luck

Koeberg is awesome and the little guy will enjoy the springbuck,zebra and eland,but I think Koeberg Nature reserve is closed this week re fueling of the reactor.

Sunset Beach is half way between Milnerton and Table view,just north of Milnerton golf course and just after you cross over the Diep rivier.Pity the jacker did not get to practice is swimming off the top of the bridge.Pissed as this is my hood!!

This situation totally out of control.Traffic Dept should step in and limit the number of cyclists using the Campsbay - Seapoint , the Muizenberg - Fishhoek Route and the Chappies route especially over the weekends before the Cycle Tour .This will really suck as I train around Campsbay every day ,but maybe this will get the message across.

Got 700 x 38 tyres and 700x35-45 tubes from City Cycles the other day. Can now interchange them between commuter and 29r. Or just ride all the tread off your 29r tyres,only thing if you go back onto gravel you will have no traction and will do some drifting around the corners

I agree with getting splits .It worked for me last yearMuizenberg station (25km mark) in 1 hr,Cape point (50km mark)in 2hrs, Noordhoek Garden emporium (75km mark) in 3hrs and after that, what ever it takes. And still remember to enjoy the view of the Fairest Cape in the World

Get well soon. So many cyclists on that road and still you have motorists pushing bikes off the road or pulling out in front of cyclists.Going down Suikerbossie at about 52kmh the other day and a lady in a red Kadette pulls out in front of me.Decided its time of brakes upgrade

Sorry to hear the bad news. Bet: 1. they have been in the store before to check out the bikes 2.they were sitting around in the parking areas before break in ,waiting for staff to leave. 3.they are not cyclists 4.bikes already out of CT Just my thoughts ,hope theses mothers get caught.
