    Hi V12 and Nerd, thank you very much for the time and links to get me pointed in the right direction. It seems like if I want to do it properly, I will have to save some more and look between the 5-7 grand range. would hate to buy a grinder now, and in a year or two when I want to move to something better than a moka pot, not be able to do a decent espresso grind. thx again

    Hi all you coffee guru's, I have not been on here for a while. Still doing the moka pot and aeropress at home. Lately I have been struggling with the moka pot, the filters keeps on blocking and it does not always use all the water. Have been cleaning, looking at the grind, fiddling with the heat etc. I am thinking of buying a replacement filter plate and gasket set and see if it is better. been using the old one for over 6 years. also think it is time to invest in a better grinder, as I have been using the same old cheapie and it served me well. Not in a position to spend 10 large on a grinder, but have been looking at something like the hario v60. Any other recommendations or links to decent second hand will be appreciated. Regards,

    and if you have a nice thick chimney you can suspend the grill above the fire, then it catches all the lekka smokey flavours and cooks to perfection. You need some time for this, as well as a little pulley system!

    Hi, normal lamb rib is quite fatty and thick in some sections. I prefer to put it on a side angle and let it sort of braai for a long time to get rid of some fat, get the outside nice and crispy and the meat tender and juicy. For me to braai over normal coals, it is to hot, the fat gets burnt and the meat not cooked through properly. Hope it makes sense. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

    Wow thanks so much man. Looking to get the little man of the balance onto something that will last a while. He turned 3 in Feb so I think he will be ready for a peddle bike soon. Jeez but I am lost in the bmx world. I guess the mini might do the ajob? What is a reasonable price looking at 2nd hand. A Haro or bmx or just first getting on a normal avalance or something similar for a bit cheaper? Here on the platteland there are no bmx tracks or similar to look or test.     hi, some advice please. I do a lot of walking during the day, I try and do some cycling and running as time allows. The last week or two my Achilles goes stiff as hell after a run. I do some stretching and have tried a rest for a couple of days without running, but it does not seem to go away. any advice will be appreciated. thx
