  4. 99% of the time i ride on my own. living outside civilization makes riding in a group difficult. ride road and farm roads. no nice tracks around. it has been pretty safe, some days i don't even see a bakkie on the road, nevermind people.

  7. Hi guys, see there are a lot of "dale" fans. On the bit lower spec for guys with less moola, is there a huge difference between the flash 1 alu and the carbon? I am not a weight weenie so a couple of grams won't make a difference? cheers

  9. hi, i did the 66km race and had a blast. the weather was fantastic for riding. the big dipper almost broke me. will be bacj again next year.

  12. wow what a race. it was hot as hell and that first climb was a killer. did the 55km with awesome single and forest track. hopefully i will be a bit fitter next time. thank for the event.

  17. Hi, i think the Grabadoo is on 31 December. There are a couple of distances. The climbs are lekke, but you do have to work hard. Fun race, not to crowded. See you there.

  22. Hi Dipstick, congrats on the milestones that you have already achieved. I also struggle with losing weights, and have been stuck between 105kg and 110kg for a couple of years. Diet and exercise is a must, as stated by everyone, but you should really try to mix it up a bit, give the body a shocker, do some cross-fit training, alternative training (using own body weight as resistance) and some weight training. There are certain weight training exercises that really kicks things up a bit (heavy squats & bench press). Good luck
