  7. Hi there, I have the thule suspension 2 bike, which used to work fine with the old 26ers on. Now my carbon 29 storm frame, sits really big on the front and I don't feel comfortable at all driving that way, but no moola to buy the nice sitting frames. I am also looking at an option for my polo hatchback without towbar. How good are those racks that sits on the back window, or should one look at the roof rack option. (don't want to spend to much, as this will only be used a couple of times per year). ta

  10. ok so the aeropress does seem popular. Maybe I should go that route and give it a try. Which grinders would you guys recommend that won't require an additional bond on the house? I saw a small hand grinder for R250 or something? worth it or not. cheers.
  11. thanks for the feedback. Will only be used at home, for a good 2 cups to start the day for us, and then it would be nice to be able to make 4 or 6 good cups if we have some friends over. during the day at work a plunger will be good enough. So the use of a bialetti would not be a problem for a stove top at home. is the aeropress only 1 cup at a time? or am I completely of track and have a look at an entry level type machine like weight weenie is selling? would really like grinding my own beans, rather than buying the already ground filter coffee packs. cheers.
  12. Hi there, I have been reading some of the pages, and I really enjoy a good cuppa coffee. I am not in the position to buy a R10 000 machine, but I really need to start using something other than my old plunger. I have been looking on Yuppiechef, and had a look at some of the devices. I am not to clued up on these, but have had a look at the aeropress, as well as the Bialetti stove top mokacrem and moka express. If I decide to buy a small grinder (like the Burr), which options are best for use at home for me and the missus? And, if you buy one of these, what other attachments or special filters etc. are needed. Looking forward to some suggestions and feedback ta
