True, but problem is I fall in the non 29'er market, which means outside the target market for shops around here. Only thing I buy local would be clothing and protection items

I basically only shop online as I work on my own bike, so imports the best. But, have to say, for every 10 parcel I order from Chain reaction, il maybe order 1 from local shops. Thing is, if you cant beat CRC with prices, then I dont see the use of buying local, which is going to be hard

If I had/should spend R10k on bike, it will be that Intense, absolute bargain

Best will probably be to take it to your local bike shop, they will give you the right one and front derailleurs are cheap, so you wont be saving much ordering online.

People who believe his crap, probably dont need a helmet, as they don't have grey matter which is worth protecting. I've learned my lesson a the hard way that you need a helmet. No one needs to tell me the benefits anymore, haha

Think you might ge making a fundamental mistake, your top cap should not hold your headset together. Its only to tighten it initially, once youve thightened it, you tighten stem bolts to hold it in place, and then you can loosen your top cap a bit. Your stem should be holding your headset together, not your starnut and top cap. If your stem is not tight enouh, the starnut will probably start pulling loose

tubeless not solution to everything (unlike 29'ers which solves all mtb related problems, haha). my reason bikes mostly used for DJ&street, so tubeless not best idea

i just go the cheapest route... those bulk packs from CRC, @R35 a tube. most of my flats are snakebites, so slime no use
