rode the hakahana Enduro with Pat on his stage max...full bottle didn't fall out once. this bike floats, it's really something cool to ride. Stiff and light, but feels so solid, not like some other marathon bikes.

Got on the routes at Hakahana Trails, was awesome after the little bit of rain. Got to the top with a nice sunrise. Pyga is also running a special on Pascoe's and One-twenties! Message me for more info. This Pascoe has converted me from XCO to Enduro...what a machine!

would love to see the prices compared for the 9.9&9.8 compared to the Pyga stage builds...

Must say that this was the best Nissan Marathon i've ever done! well done Johan, Hakahana really kick ass! Don't stop with what you are busy with, the enduro section was soooo sweet! Had loads of fun! Got a question for some guys that can climb really good : When you come past on a climb we always let you guys pass, no questions asked. you can climb, so well done, climb past us we think you rock. WHY O WHY O WHY don't you let the guys that can descent better than you pass you? you make good time on the climbs(we respect that), we make it up on the down hills.( you hate it) This wasn't at the back somewhere trying to overtake the slower batches. In the A batch top 30 riders. Next time if you get stuck behind some slow rider on a climb, say hi Staalburger!

messed up my one leg yesterday, so i'll have to do the 80km with the other one.

60 km up, we had to cut out one section (pomp huis). this will be included on the Sunday. the route is definitely 60km. after the rain last night the route is looking super!

The idea with the Dirt Fest is to create a MTB weekend festival! For the whole family, the idea with the stages is more like Strava Segments, DEFINITELY not Enduro segments. But the idea is to make this for the XC riders, and next year proper Enduro stages on the same weekend, and maybe a downhill race! soooo, next year gravity riders will have much more to keep them busy with at the VG Dirt Fest weekend

Event Name: The Rock Fest XCO NW Champs When: 12 July 2013 - 13 July 2013 Where: Hartbeespoort, North West Category: MTB 13 July 2013 we will be hosting the North West XCO championship, known as the Rock Fest. This promises to be hard racing on a really rocky and technical course. On the course you'll either be going up or down. ​ The winners will be crowned as North West Champs. The race is also open for anybody, the route is rated as one of the best cross country courses. We also have a XCE taking place on the 12th of July, this will take place at a different venue, at Trinity Cycles. This is free and there will be only 4 Categories, U18/18+ mens and ladies. also loved the race! Does anybody know what the winning time was for the 50km? the new section at "Oom Piet" had a few surprises in store going down! Did anybody see that little 14 year old kid (Yellow&blue kit) who finished 8th or 9th or something came past me on the single track with some serious speed think i need some training wheels!
