  1. I think we've had this before. But still, hi.
  2. Where are you staying in Knysna?
  3. What I do is, I make a playlist with a high/quick beat music and then something bit more chill to that, but still "power" music. Then depending on the song, I will do sprinting, high resistance or spin(low resistance) for the duration of the song. This playlist can be upto an hour, just put it on shuffle and you could go for hours.
  4. Bose. I have the pair that sits in your ear. Doesn't move and you forget that you are wearing them. They have a sports hybrid pair, which come in different colours, I stuck with the normal black/grey ones. You can't go wrong with Bose, even though they might be pricey. Sport ones The ones I have <-- they go for about R900 at Dion Wired.
  5. Weight Weenie, where did you find Dangerous Grounds? I'm really having difficulty finding it on the interwebs.
  6. awesome post was on here earlier this morning and also had a laugh at some of the personalities i completely agree that this place is a special place with special people
  7. I'm currently reading Uncommon Grounds, which is a very interesting read about the history of coffee. Highly recommended. Cafe wise, I'm not a big fan of Seattle. The only "chain" coffee I consistently know will be good is the W Cafe's. Regarding roasteries in Joburg. I recommend Father, Bean There and Double Shot (The Whippet's coffee is Double Shot).
  8. Just search your race number. http://photomarx.co.za/products/mtb_2013/nissan_trailseeker_1-hazeldean enjoy.
  9. Go here for some info. http://www.sanparks.org/parks/garden_route/tourism/activities/mountain_bikes.php Till when in Decemebr are you there? I know there were a few races there in December last year. Might be again.
  10. I did Hazeldean last month on a 22km/h average. Wasn't expecting it, but sounds like the terrain will be similar at Cullinan. So hoping to break the sub 2 this time around. Can't wait. The plan is to sleep over in Cullinan. Do the beer "tasting" thing proper.
  11. Keen. Very keen.
  12. Thank you OP for the post. I was wondering the same thing, even though I've been leaning more to Garmin from the start.
  13. All relative, but no. The Trailseeker.
  14. Was thinking abou getting a new bike. After today, My 26" HT showed he still has it. Flew down the steep dh section while some people were walking down with their 29" Dual Sus.
  15. I transported my bike from Cyclelab Fourways to Cyclelab Somerset West for R450 (R350 transport + R100 for box) this holiday. The cost to send my bike back from Somerset West to Fourways was R250 (kept the box). So maybe find out about using them and sending to a closer branch than Somerset West.
  16. I've been looking at that grinder as a possible replacement for my current one. Since you have been using it for over 2 months now. How is it performing and would you recommend it?
  17. Reckon they might put up results somewhere after tomorrow's race is finished. Met the guys organising the event at a coffee shop in Knysna this morning, they were asking if we're planning on racing tomorrow, told them we did it last week. They then started asking feedback and how we experienced it with the idea of improving it next year. Mentioned starting earlier to avoid the heat. The one guy mentioned something about they want to open up a mtb farm there in the very near future. Looking forward to that.
