    Is it possible to plan a route on Google Maps/Earth in advance? I want to plan a few rides for Knysna in December and what to get an idea of the planned routes.

    Regarding Cleen Green. I've heard people say it is too strong and will damage the cassette. What is the opinion on that? Also, where should it be applied and where not? edit: typo.

    Got off early from work today. So reattempting this. Brush ready + more Cleen Grean + better light.

    Question. Is this normal after a wash? I used my chain cleaner with water and Cleen Grean and then applied Smoove afterwards. Not sure if it should look like that or if I'm being paranoid. I am aware of the dust still there, wasn't the easiest to clean my bike in the basement parking of my complex (the joys of living in a complex) as the light isn't the greatest down there.

    I wish. Car was stolen as I was going to buy the bike. Then used the insurance payout for the bike and extras and first down payment on the car...

    So I went shopping this week. Ford Fiesta above + the following: Spez S3 MTB helmet Spez Comp MTB shoes Spez Solo Bib Shorts Garneau Gel GX Epic Comp (Alu) + got some free stuff from Complete Cyclist and a 10% cash back on the value of the Epic.

    Went to Complete Cyclist, received great service from Graeme. Took out a demo bike (Epic comp) this morning. Also great service from Christof, who did the fitment. Definitely going back.

    Spoke to someone at Complete Cyclist yesterday and he said that Specialized has confirmed that the 2015 geometry won't change for the Epic. There will be a few small tweaks, colour scheme changes and an increase in the price. So basically, you need to buy before the 2015 models get here in September.

    Hi, I'm looking at a Specialized for my next bike. I just wanted to know from a service level, which Specialized shop (Elite or Concept) has offered the best services in your opinion? I'm based in Illovo, so not too interested in shops in outside Johannesburg, but maybe for everyone's sake, it could be discussed. Thanks.

    I read it should be around 77db Mine is over 95db So figured it should at least be quieter than the one I currently have. Passed a big exam on Friday. So feel I should congratulate myself...

    How is the Rocky? Been looking at it for a while. Not too expensive and gets really good reviews. Is it noisy or not? My current cheap Burr is too loud in my opinion. Can't make coffee without waking up the apartment.

    I just made a moka pot and it was spurting/coughing quite badly. All over the floor. The previous few times this didn't happen. What would the reason be behind this? Not sure really what I did differently, except maybe to much coffee ground.

    FYI To determine the roasting date for Beanthere coffee. Subtract one year from the expiry date. Just moved into Illovo and the Thrupps shop sells Beanthere coffee. No more oily Woolies coffee for me.

    You start timing when you start the shot. Doesn't sound ideal that your basket is so loose. Maybe contact the supplier. When I pull a shot I will count, giving myself up to a max of 35 seconds or when the coffee goes blonde, whichever comes first.
