Ya route could've been pushed to 10km. I had some Id10T pass me at the end of the downhill at +-40km/h on the corner almost taking out the both of us. But overall it was a leke event.

was doing grocery shopping at our local Checkers and saw in the sport section they have bicycle lights "Power beam" and they were only R30 including the bracket. Must say really not bad has 5LED's 3modes(flash quicker flash and on) uses 4X AAA's and Seems to last quite long used it for 3hours on constant light and it still goes on. Will post a pic in the morning

What's your opunions on second hand helmets? I saw a new bontrager quantum for R600 at sportsbasement. Isit worth that?

My current Helmet is falling apart I need a new one before the 24hour this weekend. Problem is I've only got R400 - R500 to spend. What is the best I can get for that price just to use till I can save up for a proper helmet. Thanx Marius
