  1. Was there Monday. Wasn't a great selection for ladies.
  2. I have en entry if anyone is interested. I am unable to ride. Just PM me.
  3. Ridden on both and you can't compare a 4k rapid with the one the OP is selling. I wouldn't take that rapid up any trail.
  4. I'm in. After all the devastation of the week it will be great to ride in solidarity. I'm glad we get to ride and it's not cancelled. A 35 000 strong critical mass. I don't even think they should time the thing.
  5. It is quite busy up on the mountain in the mornings especially on windless days. You should have no problem. I am up there until about 730/800 and still pass people on their way up
  6. Does anyone know the routes and profile for the various distances on 31 Jan?
  7. I'm on XBMC/Kodi you can get live tv streaming of sport. Never looked back. Netflix and Hulu can't even compare and it's free.

  9. I took my new Specialized Fatboy on a spin this morning. Had a total blast on the single track.
  10. Recently ordered a Specialized Fatboy from West Rand. I am in Cape Town. Great fast and efficient service from them. I dealt with Stephan. He was quick to return my emails and had the bike on my doorstep in 2 days.
  11. GARMIN 910XT. The battery life is definitely long enough.
  12. Mike Posthumus at Science to Sport. You will have peace of mind you are very well prepared.
  13. Mountain bikers are friendly until you are holding them up on the singletrack
  14. I use a R299 Nokia and use my Garmin to save ride data. You never know when you can fall or get hijacked.
  15. I used Dr Mike Posthumus last year. He was great. Always available and always quick to reply to e-mails. Your progress is monitored and changes to program made accordingly. I haven't ridden better.
  16. It would understandably be great if by towing the line now these trails could eventually be made into legal trails.
  17. I have two friends looking for a group to ride with in the early morning. They are on road bikes and don't have mtb's. they are building up,to Argus and currently doing triathlon.
  18. Seems we are not allowed to ride on this anymore. I was under the impression we were as mtb'ers allowed on this section close to the road in Cecelia Forest as it is safer than getting run over by cars. I have even been greeted by the guard at the hut at the entrance/exit on one end. A sign has gone up saying no bikes allowed at the Southern Cross entrance. I was just about to use the ST section next to the road as I thought this was legal but was stopped by a guy coming down from the house in his car saying we are no longer allowed there. Does anyone know anything about this or was I wrong all along that we were using this illegally.
  19. How does a car manage to hit a cyclist when there is a two lane road?!!! seriously
  20. Pity they can't make that road a one-way so there is place for a bicycle lane
  21. Agree with BF Scott have tried most of supplements and have found the Cadence products to work best for me. I recommend you try various ones to see what works best for you.
  22. thank you so much for all the work you put in. Any chance you can point out on map the hidden trail. I was on my own the other day and had no choice but to go over the mountain back home. Was very nervous.
