  1. Natooke is rad. Got a fix built up there and brought it back to Cape Town. Long live the Flying Banana!
  2. Since moving to the US, I go for HEED all the time. The taste is so subtle and it really does its job as a supplement. While in SA I was using Cadence and loved it. Maybe their new flavors with a more subtle taste will be better. I did find their product to be sweet. Pick up some Cadence and give it a shot. Its really good stuff, despite the sweeter-than-HEED taste.
  3. Dude -- Just go buy an Ultravox Ti.
  4. I moved to Portland from Cape Town last November. I've seen a few of these bikes around town. They're pretty cool for sure.
  5. I rode Ultegra for about a year, then switched to SRAM red, the newest version. The Ultegra was quieter, but I liked the double tab shifter on sram. Given the choice now, I would certainly move back to Shimano and go with electronic. No hesitation.
  6. I ride the newest SRAM RED. I love it --- but --- if I could do it again, I'd go Di2.
  7. Rocking generic carbon wheels and slapping ZIPP stickers on them is lame.
  8. Go get yourself a Swift Carbon Ti
  9. Sounds to me like Evans agrees that he gained an advantage. It also sounds like he did something outside of the rules. How much time did he gain? He claims 6 seconds. Could it have been 30 seconds? Maybe. An hour? No way. He did agree that he broke the rules though. When you get caught stealing at the store, do you just have to pay for what you took? Or is there a much harsher penalty to deter it from happening?
  10. Who do you follow on the local scene and why?
  11. FYI - FRAIL...all of the links on your signature are broken ;-)
  12. Why weren't you racing?
  13. Buy my 510 so I can buy an 810.

    A Sub 3 Argus?

You basically just have to go out and do it. I started cycling 3 years ago, had 3:12 in my first Argus, and 2:53 last year. No secrets other than grit your teeth and turn the pedals.
  15. I've had great service from CWC. Haven't been to the GP store, but every time I went to the TB store its been a pleasure. What I didn't like was their ads up with the dude in the bed with 2 chicks. Not the best message to be sending to the youngsters out there. It was a horrible campaign and I expected more from a family run business.
