  1. AWESOME!!! Well done Nina
  2. What time is Ramses flight tomorrow night? The man is on a mission!!! Just amazing to watch and admire all those dots traveling across this amazing country of ours.
  3. Think someone did 95km/h on mtb down there the other day. That climb on the dirt on the left is also proper.
  4. Been riding with the trail socks we got at Sani last year. Finally pulled the trigger on a couple more pairs. Nice touch to find a box of smarties in the courier bag.
  5. The back lit keypad is a winner for sure...once I figured out how to activate it
  6. Bought an MXQ Pro from Henrac Tecnologies. Paid late Sunday night and was delivered at 11 this morning. Gave it a spin at the office and the air mouse works quite nicely https://www.hdmi-led.co.za/online-store/Best-Value-Combo-Android-TV-Box-MXQPro%2B-and-i8-Keyboard-Air-Mouse-Black-p78602151
  7. Also live in the area. Don't ride the Spruit that often anymore. If I do it will be via Northcliff down Albert Farm to Fratelli's and then back the same way A few of our routes Cradle https://www.strava.com/activities/730450272 Piet Skiet https://www.strava.com/activities/554003395 Lanseria https://www.strava.com/activities/471261346

    Sani2c 2016

Also used the EasyBike app to upload to my Garmin 810 - very easy. Thanks guys. Did also notice there is no elevation when looking at the summary.

    Sani2c 2016

Bummed that we still have the black boxes this year. Was hoping that they would have sorted out bags. But the route, race villages and vibe is what we look forward to - the rest is a bonus
  14. The racing is amazing and loving the live feed....when our server plays along. Anybody riding to Meerendal on Sunday to watch the race? I'll be in the Tableview area and am thinking or riding to Contermanskloof and then onto Meerendal to experience the Epic
  15. Done the 120km (113km actual distance) a couple of times. The 100km looks a bit easier with the climbs after the old 1st water point (26km mark) not being there anymore. From what I can gather is that the old route gets diverted at around the 17km mark and then joins again at the 40km mark. https://www.strava.com/activities/268097827 It is a great day out though and a very well organised event. We are camping there on Friday night for the first time. Any other Bike Hubbers going?

  17. Skipped the Monster last year, but think the challenge is back on this year. After 3 days of Sani2C (used as a training block for the Magalies Monster) the weekend before I always feel that the Monster is a proper mountain bike race. Possibly due to tired legs, but it is a nice challenge and a well organised race.....well that was the case for the previous 2 years in any case.
  18. I rode with my Apple Watch for the first time yesterday and it did show heart rate. I din't change any settings it just worked. Oh I did have to activate "Heart Rate" on the Health App - don't know if this has anything to do with it. Silly question, but does your watch pick up your heart rate?
  19. Thanks. Was one of those moments that I just had to stop to take a photo as it was so awesome. I will try and remember to post some photos when I'm down in CT in March. You guys do have some amazing views of the mountain from Contermanskloof and Meerendal.
  20. Single track overlooking Blair Athol estate. Amazing trails around the area as well as great views
  21. On Tuesdays and Thursdays up at 3:50. Kit up, espresso and out the door at 4:00. Back at 5:45 to get kids ready for school. Weekend starts depend on season - early in summer (5:15-5:30). Used to go to spinning, but gave up the gym contract and bought some decent lights. As mentioned by everyone else have everything set out the night before....although I still sometimes forget my glasses or like this morning my water.
