    Wild Coast rides

Have had a bit of a change in plans, we have let our house in Morgan Bay so will only get down there at the end of Jan. I would split the ride into two days for sure, I have mapped out a route that may work but I suppose you just feel your way along most of the time along cattles tracks, beach and district roads?

  7. dude, don't be so short sighted!
  8. 31 year old Brits ahead of 26 year old Deon Fourie? not much grooming for the future there either. They are similar in their styles and Brits is really good but applies his trade abroad and Fourie is on fire.

  12. I agree! politics, whether its publicly known or behind the scenes should stay the hell away from sport, and unfortunately i think with the kings politics did play a role and may continue.
  13. I thought everyone in the bay was rallying a kings army in support for them? I must agree about leaving Nelson and Mbiyozo out, but as for mass transformation they cant do this in 2 months, not even the first year of super rugby, their no 1 objective should be to survive then transformation. With SARU only giving them one year to prove themselves, they absolutely have to buy players to be competitive and still it will be a stretch.I really believe that its good for SA rugby to have the fear of finishing bottom of the log in all competitions to avoid being relegated. they really have a massive challenge to be ready by Super rugby kick off as they have never played at the level of rugby as the cheetahs showed their maturity last night and taught them a lesson. Time will tell and I hope they beat the force in their opening game in a packed Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium next year. As for bringing in overseas players, Sanzar allows 2 foreign players per team but every new team has appealed this and been granted permission to increase these numbers, Force were allowed 6 and the Rebels 10 in their opening season!! and still have more than two in their current squads, it only makes sense that the kings would apply for the same permissions. This is to ensure that new teams enter the competition being able to compete and not start out as whipping boys.
  14. not much love for the kings on here!! Personally I think it's great for SA rugby, it's just a pity it has to be to the detriment of another union. Time = results and transformation.

  19. I currently have the 950 and really enjoying it! I was leaning toward the 940 and tested both and decided on the 950. I plan to ride until something breaks then replace it bringing it up to a similar spec eventually maybe upgrading the brakes to SLX and Crank to XT. the shock difference was not very evident to me but i am pretty light. Between the 950 and 940 there is a 200g difference according to Scott.
  20. Bummer! Im also out with a niggle, keen for next week Tuesday and Thursday if anyone want s join?
  21. wont make it today unfortunately, enjoy!
  22. Make a weekend of it and ride oak valley the next day or in the afternoon.
  23. very similar to you, I misjudged a pavement (Badly) as it was nearing dark, except I planted my front wheel into the pavement and went over the handle bars at pace catapulting my bike into the trees, it was SPECTACULAR!! to make matters worse I had an audience which included other mountain bikers and families walking their dogs and children!
  24. it does feel a little loose and I have unseated mine once when changing modes as it tends to swivel the device when pushing buttons.
