Hi Yusri, Unfortunately I am in JHB this week, but there should be guys going in my absence. The Ride depends on the group that arrives but will always wait for the slowest riders. Depending whether the group has lights or not will also determine the length of the ride but is usually around 17-20kms to the blockhouse and back or tableview Rd down into Deer Park and back.

ill add the Ride to Nowhere to this list? anyone know if its worth while?

i see the they have split it to make the 3day DEC separate to the K2C, with the option to do it as a 4th day.

I had a look at the AMS 100 Super HPC PRo 29 before buying my current bike last year. really nice bike but stock and support in CT swayed me. would definitely look at this again when I upgrade.

I saw what must have been you, while riding up the tar Rd, was curious about the the discussion you were having with the Rangers. what is strange is that the short Bypass that was built around the Mount Pleasant out buildings (which is allowed) almost flows into the single track in question. It would be easy for someone who does not know, to ride the piece of illegal single track without knowing.

The spoke and dérailleur issue would not be a Scott problem, just sounds like this particular CL store isnt able to manage their agents and customers properly.

Tomorrow looks a little windy but dry, thinking of pushing the ride out to 5:30 to accommodate more riders. Bring those lights! Hope to see some new faces.

what do they charge for a basic service? wash,lube, gear and brake setting?

if we had to move this ride until a bit later would this encourage more to participate? i know it may be hard for some to ride at 5pm due to work commitments. ride is on today.

I think the anticipation of poor weather kept everyone away! It was a great ride, clear, cool and calm, with a splash of mud!

It all depends on the group and how much time we have before it gets dark. We normally ride from RM to the blockhouse split to,Tafelberg rd and down into deer park and back.

weather is looking 50/50 with allot of mist up there. If there are any takers for a cold and possibly wet ride, I will ride..
