Yes and no. Sabre Red is by far the best pepper spray (canister version) that is available anywhere in the world. Some of them do have the dye, but not all of them, and there is no tear gas in them. For those in windy areas, there is also a Gel format which is less affected by wind, and for indoor use there is even a foam for those who are worried about airborne particles (asthma) etc. *NOTE - There are pro's and cons to each type.
