  1. ???? Okay. Maybe coconut oil could work. Hmm.
  2. what did you use as a sub for butter for the pastry?
  3. Its streamlined, airsmoothed nose looks quite different from a factory Supra’s smiling face, and beneath it we find a V12 originally housed in Toyota’s retro luxury limo, the Century. Upgraded from sump to heads and fitted with two turbochargers, it develops a claimed 705kW. All of which goes to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Wonder if it’s a handful? In 2008, this Top Secret Supra hit a top speed of 385km/h on the constant curve of Nardo’s circular test track in southern Italy. Well, it did have nitrous oxide boost to help. Oh, did we not mention the nitrous? Yeah, this thing’s got the quintessential Fast and Furious key to speed. “Too soon, junior”.
  4. OOOOOH!!! I missed that!! Joh. Okay, want me some Sam Hillness. Ignore me. They look good, tho... Will call it a Nary, cos it looks like a Nobby Nic and a Mary lovechild.
  5. Yeah, also a great option but not much availability locally. And with the pricing being more or less the same as local options after VAT & shipping, I'd rather go with one of the ones we get here.
  6. Joh, that's pretty! Mine, after the latest upgrade. Really digging the Lyrik now that I've got to know it. Sorry Marz, but the slimmer newer fork is a nice change. Not that I don't still love you, your open bath dampered coil fork goodness is still the best. I wish you were just 33% lighter...
  7. but basically, any of the Eliminator, Mary, Hillbilly, DHR2, DHF or AssGuy will be better than the Butcher.
  8. Butcher vs Eliminator vs Hillbilly (another one I wanna try, which is sorta a copy of the Mary) vs Mary You can see the difference quite easily. Butcher = Death Gap® - others have transition knobs, which remove the vagueness you're getting on the Butcher. It doesn't look like much, but it makes a MASSIVE diff. Also - DHR2 is a great option. Savage loves his, and it also has good tranny knobs. Better (well, wider) tranny knobs than the DHF, imo.
  9. Yeah, I wouldn't touch a butcher, tbh. That Death Gap® between the mid and side knobs is atrocious. I'll always recommend a Mary, but want to try the Eliminator (in 2.6, which as you know isn't really a 2.6) It's Spaz's answer to the AssGuy, and comes in the GRID casing, which I really like for a front tyre. The AssGuy Exo Plus (only Exo I'd buy) is only landing mid March, apparently. I'd also like to try that, but it'll come after the Eliminator.
  10. That's taking it up a notch.... Holy Fark.
  11. Wouldn't be surprising. That's not even double the 1199, is it? And it's the base for the superbike WC. And from HERE Ducati has set the price for the Panigale V4 R at $39,995. It will arrive at dealerships March 2019.
  12. I'd imagine that answering a questionnaire would be far faster than clicking yes / no and then waiting for the system to collate and analyse previous workout history. That's not covering the ability for new members to opt in (which the q'naire allows for) and for people to opt in without meeting arbitrary entry criteria.
  13. yeah. I'd support that personally, tbh. Or maybe even reduce it to 200. More than 10,000 steps in a day, less than 30 min at 80%. No idea on the VA attendance thing, tho I reckon it'll be simple to institute. Just upgrade the exit turnstiles to be barcode-scanner versions, like one of my local outlets (Century City) already has. Simple. Can still just go for a coffee and sauna, but still there.
  14. For a minute, I thought you were Grebel... Was gonna respond with your wife?! Tall!? Then, the brain caught up.
  15. In some (most?) cases, I'll agree with you. But in others it's just simply a case of the only way to remain true to yourself and your child/children. A child in a divorced family yet happy environment, or whose one parent is happy and can teach them how to live their best life would be far better off than in an unhappy marriage. And in my case, when I was congratulated by my psych after I'd initiated proceedings, it was the only option, given what had come before. If the transgression or disagreement is reconcilable, and there is a way to, then work at it. In my case it was just too many things, two of which I could never overlook without contradicting my most central standards.
  16. From a behavioral perspective that'll achieve the opposite of what they want to. Remember, they're trying to get the inactive active, not us. The inactive need an adequate points allocation in order to make it more attractive / achievable to get to certain statuses. Too few points, and you get a "what's the use" attitude and numbers drop off.
  17. I don't see why not... Does Garmin log that as a simple 3h ride? If so, vitality should see that as well. Therefore, points.
  18. This. Also, it's generally easier for the ascending rider to hear a descending rider clattering down the trail than vice versa.
  19. That's exactly why Tokai adopted the yield to descending riders rule.
  20. speaking from experience, that's 100% correct. Once my mind was made up, there was no chance of reconciliation. There were several points at which she could have saved it, if she'd been willing. Once those windows had closed...
  21. Crap dude, so sorry to hear that. Stetkte man. You're not alone
  22. The Captain is on the TBMTB committee, so it's the rule on the trails. IMBA etiquette favours the ascending rider, UNLESS the trail centre / company dictates otherwise. Tokai also has a descenders ROW rule.
