  1. Looks like the rear rotor failed and the dude had to autorotate?
  2. That's quite the mirror finish. Wonder how much that would have cost!
  3. shame... no wonder you're depressed. Here's a number for you. 0860-RNTAFRND
  4. Maybe the fact that it's a different density to the rest of the sole, and it's affecting you due to that? Rest of the sole deforming juuust enough to make it protrude, even if it's a fraction of a millimetre?
  5. That's because there's a metal plate of approximately the same size of the cutout, that is in the sole of the shoe. That's what you're feeling. It's embedded in the sole, but it's still there. It's where almost all teh pressure between the pedal and your foot is going to, and as stiff as the rubber of the sole is at that point, you're always going to feel it. Which is also why some MTB shoes have full length plastic / carbon soles. So that the pressure is along the whole shoe as opposed to a small section. Mallets / DX pedals and all the ones with pins and / or adjustable cages will allay this, to some extent. On 520's or XT trail pedals, you'll DEFINITELY feel it.
  6. Only one thing I have to say about that Hi-Fi.... EEEEEEEUW....
  7. She wouldn't feature. They've already looked at this, and she wouldn't get inside the top 50 male players.
  8. I don't think roadies are the epitome of what that quote was on about...
  9. Oh, and I keep the drivetrain and suspension clean. The rest can be brushed off. This was after a "broduro" on TM when it was just crazy muddy. Haven't cleaned it since as I've been away and not riding as much as I'd want to.
  10. CCDB Inline Coil CS. Just put it on, and sprayed the coil orange (didn't cure lekker, will have to re-do it / touch it up in the future) Tyre is a 2.6 Slaughter GRID. Love that thing. Only time I've wished for more tyre is in the Glen after it'd rained a crapload and we were riding it in the rain as well. That, and Status Quo in Jonkers, again after a massive rain.
  11. Dude, a comfortable saddle is key. Had that Fizik on there, but it just didn't gel with my rear end, so I switched back to the WTB, which is suiting me just fine. Most comfortable saddle I've ridden on to date has been this one. Selle Italia Superflow. Was on Iwan's old Ibis. Then, this cheap job, from Dartmoor. Was on my old reign x when it got nicked.
  12. Yeah, man. I figure that I want it to be tough AF, cos I ride like an idiot. And not a talented one, either! Plus, I have more weight to lose on my own body than on the bike, and the weight on my body is a shitton cheaper to lose as well! Anyway. This is she, at the moment. Ready for Ezel.
  13. Nope. It's 2.9kg. Above a Pike / Lyrik that's ~800g. And yeah, Cap - I can believe that. Funny that it's taken this long for the air forks to catch up to a 10yo coil fork. ????
  14. Or, you could go the way I did. Add 1kg and get the best small bump and compression damping ever. Buuuut I don't think a lot of people would do that. 2009 66 Marzo FTMFW
  15. Disco card is THE most expensive on the market, from a card fee & interest rate perspective, so unless you're reaming hte rewards, I can see your argument. From Vitality alone, the cost is more than outweighed by the benefits you enjoy. Gym by itself is enough to warrant it, let alone healthy food, travel, hotels or life assurance discounts. In short - unless you're integrated, it makes little sense to entertain Vitality. You're either in, or you're not. There's very seldom any middle ground.
  16. Nope. Not anymore, afaik. Could be wrong, but I think the loophole was closed with some clever coding to detect a workout that didn't use a recognised device and / or was uploaded instead of captured natively.
  17. 9.2% weighted average increase. Changes to the VAR side of things - no more spinny thing, now a "game-board" with tiles where you select a tile to get your reward, which can now be banked for up to 12 weeks and stacked with other rewards (allows access to higher-tier rewards as well, if you don't want instant gratification) Improvements to oncology treatment on comprehensive & executive, to allow coverage for cutting edge / new treatments either in full or with a co-payment. Doing away with lowest band on Keycare, due to extreme anti-selection. Lower tier members will have to elect for a new plan, Keycare Starter (basic plan) or go to the mid or high-income band. ATB benefits increasing by 11.9% Cap on the amount of points from steps, trying to get more people active. Now max 1,200 points per month from steps. Still 30,000 points max for fitness activities. Screening checks changing slightly - more attention being placed on higher-risk items (people outside the Norm) and will be getting points based on how many you hit, and how bad your out-of-range readings are. Min 10,000 points for a screening check. If you hit all the markers and do HIV and non smoking declaration, instant silver status. Apple Watch 4 will probably be covered under apple watch benefit when it's launched locally. Probably. Dischem & Clicks are still DSP for chronic, day surgery hospitals will be DSP for procedures which can be carried out at a day surgery, due to efficiency & quality of care that happens there. Discovery gap cover enhanced slightly, still not as good as other gap providers. There is more, but I need to read the stuff in order to get the proper detail and analyse information.
  18. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Hy het jou, Pielletjie!
