  1. Yep. Tenderizes the meat whilst imparting some bloody Marvellous flavour
  2. Remember to put the details and foliage on low density! If you put it on high and camp in some "grass" the other players just see you and no grass.
  3. Watched Ip Man 2 last night. Bloody amazing fighting. Need to start up the Kung Fu movies again!
  4. VERY often. Most often of all, actually. Incredibly versatile clamps, sash clamps. Just be sure to get quality ones.
  5. They're both closed cell foam. So no absorption at all. Pool noodle isn't anywhere near as dense as these FOAMO things though.
  6. I think these would be more hardwearing, tbh. Especially the DD versions.
  7. R395 per tyre. The normal thickness one is R 350 per tyre. I got the DD (double density) version cos I'm a fatbastard. Others have had success with cut up pool noodles wrapped in fibrous tape to lend it more strength, and I was going to do that until I saw they (Stoke) had the DD version on the shelf. I could have bought a pool noodle, a roll of gaffa tape and some extra time to cut out holes for the sealant to flow freely, get the pool noodle the right thickness, width and length then wrap it and install it but by then I'm already more than R 395 down in material and time with the fam. And you have a pool noodle in your tyre...
  8. yeah, yours was just a smaller focus on what was doing the cleansing.
  9. this as well, and probably closer to the actual message.
  10. the "cleansing" of history to suit a particular narrative / political viewpoint / ideology
  11. AFAIK bike computers as well. But I've just checked. SW pricing minus the max 3k discount is still more expensive than Momentum's online store with a Platinum level multiply discount on the likes of the Fenix & Edge 1000. Not sure of 520 etc, but you'll probably find that it starts getting more or less equivalent around the 8 / 9k device cost mark (at SW)
  12. No. It helps protect against rim strikes and tyre roll when you run your tyre pressures at the levels that give you the most amount of grip. Also helps with tire seating by pushing the sidewalls out a bit, and helps prevent snakebite punctures (yes, you can still get those when running tjoopless) I've found that at the pressure I like to run, my rear tyre rolls in the corners and I tend to have rim strikes, which can be pretty damaging to rim and tyre.
  13. I find this one particularly upsetting, precisely due to it being extremely accurate.

  15. you pay 4k (or more) and get up to 25% (R1k) back a month later (HealthyGear rewards) and an extra 50% (2k) over 24 months (GearBooster rewards)
  16. They're extremely popular in cycle-centric cities like Amsterdam, SF, Beijing etc. Nate in the netherlands reckons they're a dime a dozen.
  17. que? The "up to 75%" discount over 24 months is limited to R4k on products which previously had no extra discount associated with them - exactly the gripe that has been levelled at Vitality since they started the Apple Watch benefit. Granted the 4k is a little (very) low, but the use of SW (an existing partner) and giving an additional 50% over 24 months is more than what was available previously... Essentially, you can get up to R3k back on a fitness device (garmin / polar etc) at SW, over 24 months. It would be absolutely fantastic if they did it the same way as the Apple Watch benefit though, and gave an up front rebate on the cost of the device up to R x, and then funded it over 24 months. IMO that's still the best one of the lot.
