  1. Oh and DON'T get me started on the dstv streaming. It's SHAITE
  2. Plentiful through kodi and the plugins you get for it.... I've just stopped using watchfree.to and such other web based stuff in favour of Netflix and kodi. So much simpler
  3. Or you do what I'm gonna be doing in a weeks time, and start repainting the areas that need repainting in greys and whites. Just as well my wife understands colours, being a photog and all!
  4. That's what happens when you build from scratch! And those yellows... I dunno, man.
  5. Mostly, yes. As far as I know only boulders is dual direction There are plans for a dedicated climbing trail though. That will take a while to come to fruition.
  6. Wildcard is separate to the activity cards for climbing / MTB / dog walking / horse riding and is about 500 pee year for the entire TMNP
  7. Easy choice then. Go year long for the one with the more expensive daily entry
  8. yeah, I know. Unless there's a massive uptick in the amount of trail. I don't blame you at all. Far from what it was just before the fire at R 50. And even that was high.
  9. what do you want? Aggressor (f)/Ikon ® mix would be my guess for that bike whilst keeping XCish tendencies.
  10. yeah. That's a bit much, IMO. Makes the annual fee seem paltry in comparison, even if you only go 7 times a year it'll be cheaper to get the annual
  11. Cool. If you do do it anytime soon, please let me know and let me have the GPS file. Been thinking of doing one of these for a while.
  12. You got a strava / garmin / google earth file for that, Philip?
  13. Saddle - purely personal preference. Ride what's comfortable. End of story. 11-46 w/34 will have an easier granny and higher top end gearing than the 11-42 / 32. That's what I'd go for. Changing to that myself when my existing cassette is in its moer. Tires - hmmm. Mountain King / Race king isn't suited to muddy, IMO. Better (if you want Conti) would be a Der Kaiser at the front, and the MK at the back. Seeing as it's winter in Poland, and you're likely to encounter wet wet trails, you do NOT want a Race King at the back. Terrible wet tyre. FWIW the Magic Mary is often hailed as the single best all rounder, so consider that together with a Hans Dampf or Nobby Nic at the back. Yes, you're getting a scalpel and all of those tyres I've listed are AM / DH spec stickiness and grip. BUT - I'd far rather get a good, grippy set of tires for the conditions and worry about saving weight elsewhere. Nobby will roll a LOT better than the HD. HD is a DOG at the back. If you're happy with mixing brands, I'd personally run a Magic Mary (f) and High Roller 2 ® as a combo for your northern winter conditions. And yes, the stock Schwobbles are ***. Performance line = shaiiiiite.
  14. the one after the rock garden? Just after a small LH bend? If so - ja. It's smaller than any other drop on the Taal. But nope.
  15. Indeed. When my ballas are better (vasectomy happened on monday) and I'm back from Esels, I'll make a plan. If you're happy to ride with a slooooow person, I'll let you guys know when I go.
  16. Dude. That "whooshing" sound is his suspension. The thwacking sound is made by his tires on the ground and the buzzing is his freehub body. There were NO additional sounds put into the vid. EDIT: Unless you're talking about those low almost bassy whoosh sounds, which IMO is just the sounds made by some wind into the mic.
  17. Citius is the one I'd go for. Ibex is a rad tyre for the back, especially in the 2.25 guise. Properly ramped knobs for lower rolling resistance, and has a great centre knob profile for good braking performance. I was really surprised when I put it on the rear of my Reign. Pedalled really nicely. Citius is their grippiest tire, and whilst I haven't used it yet I think it's a better front tyre than the Ibex for WC conditions. I found the Ibex to be a bit lacking in the grip department, personally. May be that it was just at the wrong pressure, but I just wasn't as confident in it as I am on the Magic Mary. DEFINITELY go for the 2.4 version.
