  1. ah well, it was at about the same time as you guys (if youre in the making of it) were saying you're filming the next one.
  2. Great news, Mike. Keep on trucking! Me, I'm looking forward to being able to commute for about a week when my Mrs and lightie go up to Durban. Trying to figure how to get more commuting time in when they get back. Hmmmm...
  3. broccoli microwaved in butter, and some smoked chicken breast. YUMMY!!!
  4. Something I'm considering using from now. Built this from some scrap cherry I had. Was from a cabinet I bought that was just too tall for the house. Measured 2.5m high! It's a simple light box, with 2x10w LED floods sitting inside the box, bouncing off the ceiling to provide more than enough light for what we need. Hasn't been fully finished yet, as I was checking installation height etc. Simple dog-leash chain hanging from the light fitting itself. Please excuse the state of the roof - the previous owners made an absolute hash of the junction box, and I only found out once I removed the previous fitting. Temporary plug with contractors acrylic.
  5. I think that's a bit harsh... It's also why i've been requesting and supporting a change to acknowledge the need for a better tiered system, so the longer you go the lower your average HR needs to be. At 40, you should hit avg 144 in order to get the 80% mark, and 126 for the 70% mark - are you saying that's unachievable?
  6. Yesterday's 100 minute ride at 158 avg netted me 600. Today's will net me another 600... Then Saturday's will be another, and Sunday's another...
  7. Well, the reason is pretty fecking simple. The WOF guys were pocketing all the cash for themselves and sticking by the "agreed contracts" even when Canadian Officials said no, that's too little, we're paying you X.
  8. YAAAAAY!!! How sad is it that I get better updates on Vitality stuff through this thread and people participating in it, via FB (also through here) and on tweeta (also people on here) than through my Discovery rep!?
  9. Any difference in height between the 2? Can you get in under the "eaves" (assuming htere are none due to the proximity) Very difficult. Almost the only thing you could do is make some sort of shared trough as a gutter... Unless you could get some material with a weighted bottom end to go down in the gap. Large plastic tarp with a lat at the bottom. Drop it inbetween the walls and then tension it by fastening to the front and back walls...
  10. Eish. Difficult indeed. Is there no boundary wall between them, or does the garage form part of the boundary wall on his / your side?
  11. Banshee gets my vote, but you'll DEFINITELY need to chase the kids out for that one!
  12. That looks like it could be brilliant...
  13. http://enduro-mtb.com/en/the-best-enduro-tire-seven-combos-in-comparison/ Wish Schwalbe had sent the Rock Razor instead of the Nobby Nic for the rear, or at lease sent it in trailstar guise.... But interesting comparison.
  14. LOL. No, not the lightweight one - the bear claw. If it can hold me, it can hold her...
