yeah, and my wife loves it. Her assistant (her bro) prefers the 6d for the exact reason that she doesn't like it. The 450 I get along with well. It won me a prize in a small FB-based photography compo, and the pic is posted here somewhere. I don't shoot a lot though. Need to find the time.

yeah, my wife has just gone from having a 450 as a spare body, to having her old 6d as a spare and a 5d3 as her main body. She uses focal points extensively, so even the jump from the 6d to the 5d3 as a main body was integral. For her, it was worth the extra cash as she found herself constantly wanting to change focal point on the fly (instead of focus recompose etc) The 450 is now my toy. With an 18-200, 50mm F1.8 and the 5h1t lens

760 or whatever the new one is will have a MEGA jump in quality over the 450. Focal points, ISO capacity & handling, sensor capacity etc. Maybe have a look at the 750 as well. Don't know what the difference is, but they both have the DIGIC6 processor, same megapixel count, WIFI, FHD video & NFC, plus the vari-angle LCD. The 450 isn't a bad camera, but the new version will always be a step up in terms of quality and light handling characteristics. Plus it's still a crop sensor, so she can still use her own lenses.
