  1. I disagree. Religion has oodles of comic inspiration...
  2. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Dancing so bad it's like he's dancing in afrikaans. BAHAHAHA!!! I know it's bad, but this hits Every. Single. Note.
  3. Looks like it might be running some sort of pull linkage, like the Evil does - single pivot moving rearward, pulling on a triangular rocker jobbie which rotates and compresses the shock attached to the 3rd corner of the link. Would be cool to see inside the confines of the frame to see if I'm right. EDIT: Just like this kind gent on VitalMTB has illustrated it. http://i.imgur.com/MOjO3C4.jpg
  4. We dunno what they've been working on in their factories. Too clouded in diesel fumes to see past the fence
  5. that's my feeling on it as well...
  6. When I was in the states, there were only 2 vendors we'd go to. Carl's, and Wendy's. OMG. The burgers were amazing...
  7. Ah, yes. I see what you're saying. But on the pain there's also a bridge forward of the tyre, which the mudguard fits on to. Just how much that braces the triangle , and how fleet those "spars" are at the pivot point, remains to be seen. But yes. Now that I see that, it does look a bit flexy. I'm sure they thought of that though
  8. .yeah, it's about the linkages. Not clean by any means, but if you consider that the Santa cruz rear triangles also only have one forward spar...
  9. ja, and? I realise it's not in a good place insofar as mud and stuff is concerned, but still... there's nothing inherently wrong with it, from what I can see...
  10. Piss off. I'm stuck in the office with this beast behind me... No ride today, or tomorrow. Got meetings...
  11. Just have to share this - Raydek, in all his lyric-bumbling glory This happened not 10 min ago.

  13. FROM MTO's FACEBOOK PAGE Trail development update: Hylton has reached the trail head close to the Waterfall with the black line! The last section to be built is the lowest level which takes the trail onto the circle loop (fire road) in the valley. Meanwhile Bennet is making positive progress with the Red Line. Difficult to say when this trail will reach the same trail head that the black is at but we hope ten more working days. These two trail heads are very close to the Blue Line trail head, fondly known as Neverending Story. Next week a team will work on Neverending Story, which also needs some love and attention. We are trying to find a way around the portage section at the very top, meaning a fun ride from top to bottom! Lastly the trails are not yet open. Please don't ride them. Signage will be erected as soon as they are open. Entrance to the new Black Line (looks like this is the filter for entry to the trail) More Black Line Hylton (left) and Bennet -- the minds behind the trails... Another view of the Black line entry point Again More Black Line Some of Hylton's signature VERY tight and flowy berms. If you don't know how to rail a berm, these will punish you. And again - Lastly, the trails are not yet open. Please don't ride them. Signage will be erected as soon as they are open.
  14. pinch of bicarb in the water, or some vinegar. Bicarb works better though.
  15. Hey Nico, it wasn't an actual broken branch on the trail - it was one of those little sharp nubbin things that stays on the tree (about an inch long) after you break off a branch. It was just too close to the trail in that particular situation, so when Brenton washed out it was there to greet him but it's been taken care of thanks to a leatherman saw. Only thing I can think of that may have prevented it was berming the corner, but then the corner wouldn't have been off camber
  16. I reckon the best option is the XT 1X fox jobbie. Still have the FIT4 fork. Sell the crest wheels, and grab some light bicycle carbon hoops with the leftover cash. Still has the top level suspension. Swap the XT brakes out for guide RSC and you have a KICKASS bike. And it looks hot as
  17. sauce? NVM. Got it. http://www.noxcomposites.com/kitsuma275 And EEK! At $ 1,500 for a wheelset... Sjoe.
