  1. Yeah you're right... of all people to have a term fail. Meh
  2. Much better, neater and cheaper than my idea. Nice, bogus! Also looks like there's enough material at the top of the tube to make that work
  3. Okay, please forgive the roughness of the drawing. Drawing on the ipad, where accurate gestures are replaced by vague lines in the middle of nowhere. Aka - chunky finger syndrome
  4. Sorta like this, but with a longer tail section so it has more purchase in the aero section, and a notch for the seatpost clamp.
  5. It is, eh!? And wtf is up with that stem length on the ferrari bike?!
  6. Is the seat tube section alu or carbon? Either way you'd either be able to get it welded to the existing tube, or bonded to the tube if its carbon by wrapping it with a bit more carbon...
  7. You should be able to get an insert machined up for that thing that will fit into the rear portion, and flush against the top of the tube (not going into the seat cavity as that only just fits the 27.2. The upper portion of the insert should have a 27.2 id round portion to fit a normal seatpost, with a cutout at the front or back so you can use a normal clamp. Sorta like a submarine's tower at the top, with a tail dragger inserted into the rear (aero) portion of the seat tube.
  8. LOOOOOL! Just goes to show you, eh. May just have been that he hadn't lubed his chain in a while, or at all. Or maybe he just changes like a palookah and mashes the chain up all the time. Dunno. Maybe a bad quicklink, but still. That is lolworthy indeed.
  9. BAHAHAHAHA!!! The one with the Ohlins shock? Saw that and I was drooling heavily... Yeah - it felt a LOT steeper. But it wasn't, and it was actually not that bad from an average gradient perspective. 1:10 gradient, so 10% average. BUT - it was actually helluva tough. 45% in places.
  10. easy fix. MOVE TO CT! You already ride all our Enduros, so it's an easy sell! Oh and BTW - nice work on the climbing!
  11. LOL. I checked strava - it was 480m in 4.5km. But in places more than 35% which is way more than my capabilities! Silver Reign X, but you would have recognised me by my helmet. Bright pink. Black Dakine backpack.
  12. Nice! I sucked. Completely. Fat and unfit, and only a Monster for breakfast. Plus my rear lost 10psi on the first few metres of SS2 so the rest of the way down was interesting to say the least! Checked it on the pump when I got to the bottom - 15PSI!!
  13. I like it as well, cos sometimes I get to ride them!!!
  14. Dude, did you make it down for the Enduro y/day?
  15. And back off topic, well ridden yesterday bro.
  16. Yeah it does. The guys on the committee are committed to giving tokai the best.
  17. LOL yeah. It was great. Would def do it again - SS2 made it worth it. Can only imagine the fun I would have had if the rear had played along. As for the rock garden - I was looking for it all over the place. Could have sworn it was the wrong section that I rode for a while, but apparently not! But on the rocky sections I could have gone loads faster. If I wasn't frozen!
  18. AG **** I've done that before. Take them to Lance at epic. He fixed my xx brakes when I did the same! If the seals are intact they can be reassembled and bled to be as good as new
  19. Well, the "climb" was more of a huff, puff, wheeze and shuffle. Fark, it killed me. First stage I carried on washing out on cos it was so fresh and I couldn't feel my limbs. 2nd stage was great, but my rear lost about 10 psi on me within the first 50m so it was rolling on me the whole way down. Couldn't corner for shaite cos it would just roll and wash out. Just one jump I didn't hit - the smaller rock jump halfway down s2. Helluva fun, but that climb and the legs... and the rear...
  20. FLIP it was cold at the top there! And I definitely left my legs somewhere on that MFing hill!!!
  21. Jeepers that's low! No wonder you were complaining!
