  1. It does. There has been north of 30t of clay put down in the last 3 months of 2013 on DH3 alone. JUST to raise teh level a bit and reinforce certain sections. The level has dropped stupendous amounts over the past 10 - 20 years (how long the trails have been there) and the repair job was only just starting to take shape. If you factor that in, Bennet etc have a massive job ahead of them.
  2. Just at the road crossing. As you come out of the big berm (after the little rock garden effort) and then you go over the fire road, there used to be a broken jump, and a broken up pallet embedded into the ground. There. From there it's a short left right into a left hand berm, over another pallet and into a left right, then you get to the rock drop.

  4. AWESOME! Now slap a 140mm fork on there and see how she performs... Capricorn has one exactly the same, with a Revelation up front. It is a trail munching MACHINE
  5. Deon and I were talking about this exact section a few weeks ago. It's also a source of mega amounts of water, so the revitalisation will help contrl erosion during winter... IF ppl don't drag their flippin brakes all over it!
  6. Damn you, Dave. I have no beer in the fridge, nor whiskey / any other liquor on my shelf. Avoiding the temptation... DARNIT!!!
  7. None. I have Norman genes (pre-french) in my family, on both patriarchal lines. And wherever my grandmother's family came from, who were of Austrian origin.
  8. Because English is the accepted language for the majority of business dealings in SA. And a lot of english speakers can't speak afrikaans for shizz, whereas the majority of afrikaans speakers can speak & write pretty good english.
  9. Not quite Dirt jump... but there's one particular drop that I have in mind.
  10. yeah. I already have my submission for this month planned... Hope it turns out in a good way and not just in broken bones and screams of ohmygaaaaaaaaaad!
  11. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I've done a few of those in my time. Never quite so graceful though, so ultimate points for that!
  12. I disagree. A trance 650 would simplify it forever more...
  13. bahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Muhauhuhahuahauhauhauhauhauahuahauha!!!!!! OMFG that's priceless.
  14. He said he would assess his future on the first few races of this year. Given the success of the first 4 GP's, and the fact that he is actually beating Jorge at times (despite being, like, a decade his senior) I reckon he's gonna stay on for a while longer. Which is great news! I love the guy.
  15. So totally different to the actual car then... Cos the real GT-R34 is a beast in all departments.
  16. Just did a cursory google image search - just pinterest pins and instagram posts with no reference to the actual builders...
  17. Dude, watching him ride is a true joy... him and that honda seem as if they were made for each other. He can lean that thing 1 to 2 degrees harder than anyone else on the track at the moment and just blat the hell out of it without munching the tires. Reminds me of an early era Rossi, actually. Or Schwantz, Rainey and to a degree Doohan. Anyway.. glad to see Rossi still has it in him with a bike that is down on power (quite evident on the straights) and that he is struggling to come to terms with. The force is still strong with this one, and I can't see him retiring now...
  18. Another quick spin on the slopes of tokai forest this morning for a VERY wet and thoroughly enjoyable ride. My lines were all wrong, my legs farked and my eyes gritted against the rain, but man was it fun! Next time, the goggles go on. Don't like riding with the eyes half closed...
  19. Git. Not my fault you make good cupcakes
  20. Lol. Only just, dude! And even then I only know what the max pressures are...
