  1. LOL. No. Game don't do zero phone contracts with a gift voucher, so I went for the cheapest phone I could get 'cos I already had a phone that was good enough for another 2 years. Which got stolen shortly thereafter. SO this is my spare spare. Love it, cos all it can do is call and sms. No email. No WA, no FB. But then I get frustrated cos there's no email on the move, no WA and no FB...
  2. then give him a business PAYG phone. Easy. I have a unit at home they can use. Looks like this... It's theirs for the price of a Lev... http://static.clickbd.com/global/classified/item_img/738327_0_original.jpg
  3. sorta the same! But damn. Another disappointment in the long line of fails from suppliers on this one, eh mate?
  4. yep! at the office. I don't know which is worse. That they're unopened, or that they're at the office!
  5. Just below the M3 at the UCT offramp going towards muizenberg. Go past the windmill, under the bridge and then it's on the left in a little bowl. Really neat jumps. And yes, there is a B-line.
  6. the guys at CF couldn't find the shifter! SO postponed to tomorrow... Beers are back in the fridge.
  7. as the OP you are the only one who is allowed to add a poll option to the thread...
  8. Cool. Just wondering... They're good brakes, for sure. CRC or local? If CRC just be sure that their conversion is correct. They've had errors with their currency converter recently, to the detriment of quote a few ppl. So rather check the price in GBP and then do your own conversion...
  9. Riaan, why not the Hope X2 Races at Evobikes, for the same cash? http://www.evobikes.co.za/hope-stealth-race-evo-x2-brake-set.html
  10. Nope. No problem. And get them to do the whole hog. They should have stock of olives and all the fittings needed to do the change, so they can do it all for you.
  11. Sooooooomewheeeeeeere, over the rainbooooow.....
  12. Yes. You'll just have to re-bleed the brakes once you've done the change-over, and get some new olives to put on the hoses. Your LBS will know what to do!
  13. So iron's lost his pomp. Don't tell Dizzy, she'll be distraught!
  14. soem avid rotors are a bit larger than 180mm, even though they're advertised as 180mm. Hence the word "may" I know I had to do that for my wife's brakes, when I gave her my old avid rotors... She has Alivio brakes, which were 180mm.
  15. yeah, my knee is coming along nicely as well. DId Jonkers on Sunday, after tokai on friday & saturday, and it complained, but held up okay. May just have to push some sections on the transitions. And this bad boy is being fitted tonight... JUST in time. http://www.coloradocyclist.com/img/product/full/k/ksskkmjq.jpg
  16. Shimano will fit on the avid rotors, yes. You may have to use a couple of spacers on the Shimano calipers for them to clear the avid rotors.
  17. True. This is the one area where I will advocate back brake dragging!!!
  18. That final climb section where you just have to bliksem your cranks and keep your momentum going to get over the rocks!? Are. You. Serious!? Shows how long it's been since I went that side of the area. Been concentrating on doing the ST only. Up, down, up down...
  19. They're sending out more confirmations today...
  20. Ah! Sense, the crow has made! Awesomeness. 1 times clean Ibis. Beer, as I said, is in the grubby paws.
  21. Yeah, that hub system is horrible! But I wouldn't swap them out for XT's - too similar ito the level they're at, imo. I'd much rather go for a better, custom wheelset that doesn't have all those problems...
  22. To that point - please, please tell me that the cables are going to go UNDER the TT / DT, crow! Just need some of those proper cable clips with the double sided tape backing. Would look far cleaner than running on the top...
  23. Cable routing. The brake & RD cable housing goes on TOP of the TT...
  24. Would you sell the crossrides to buy XT's though? Personally I'd rather keep the crossrides and aim higher on the wheel spectrum - like a flow / arch & hope combo... Something that will last and is adaptable to different standards. Thoughts?
