it will be 3.8% harder on the ups than the 2x10 (28t) and you'll effectively lose your top 3 gears if yo'ure on a 3x10. If you're on a 3x10 it's probably better to go 30t at the front.

an XX1 on a 34 actually has an almost exact range as a 28/40 11/36 mix - 0.809:1 vs 0.78:1 top & 3.4:1 vs 3.636:1 bottom

Ah. Then apart from CRC etc, the normal 2x10 bolts will work. They're shorter 'cos the big blade doesn't share a mounting point with the middle ring / granny. So go to your LBS and (depending on the LBS) they should have stock of some. That, or grind your existing ones down to the point that they'll work. That's what I'd do...

Yep. His pitwall team stuffed up ROYALLY there. He didn't see Pedrosa come in (probably thought he went too deep into the corner, and had passed him - Ped was behind Marquaz when he went into the pits) and he wasn't told to BOX until the next lap - which was too late. When he saw Lorenzo going in, he likely thought he had another lap open to him - which was vindicated when his pit team showed him BOX AFTER lorenzo pitted... He broke the rules, and was DQ'd. It's fair, but I reckon someone in his race management team is gonna get BLASTED. In the heat of the moment, you don't know how many laps you've done or not done. You just wanna do as well as you can.

One very challenging (drop into a sharp right) and the main line has had its apex moved to make the curve more open and gradual. Lots of rock and dirt moved and it needs watering desperately.
