Definately, the ride back is dark and as the bunch previously hasnt been together the whole way riding back, if you end up by yourself a car will prob take you out if you dont have good lights.

The faster rider needs to chill, when it is safe to you would move over and let them pass or where there is space for them to go around safely they can do that. Unfortunately getting stuck behind people in single track and technical sections is part of MTB races and people need to calm down and learn to deal with it. With Mtbing getting more popular this is just going to get worse. I learnt very quickly to only move over when I could and it was safe to do so - fell plenty trying to move out of people's way rather than holding my line till safe to move over. My safety and that of those around me comes first before the couple of seconds I may hold you up.

I rode at Modder today - was dusty but good fun. Route marking was good. Not an hectic technical, but good all the same.

I was under the impression that there were 2 races. The Sabie Experience (50, 60, 50km) and a Sabie Lite (30-40km each) ?? Was rather looking forward to doing a lite one as an intro to stage racing at the end of the year. Short days but still get the experience of stage racing.

Nice to see the local ladies doing well. When I grow up, I want to dream of riding like these ladies do!!
