  1. It does need some work, certain sections at lionpark washed away and just needs a weedeater to open parts overgrown. Not sure who the people and company doing this is but have not seen much done last past months , and with no money for almost anything not sure how it can be handled.
  2. I also ride most of the time alone, even the route has a lot of people on it and very very seldom that you won't pass or be passed by another cyclist. Actually nice , no talking nonsense and go at your pace, some days fast other days slow.
  3. I also think Garmin sucks with after sales service badly.Wanted to change 820 cause my battery is shot but to pay in like 6k to the 830, no chance. Also opened my brand new varia radar, plugged it in and nothings happens.Send it to garmin and 10 days later was told it works perfectly. Will return it to me.So let's see once I get it back.Awesome device but now there are other makes much cheaper and works as well. I think Garmin will have to up things but like a few others mentioned here, Who cares in S.A.Only a drop in the ocean for Garmin U.S and Europe.
  4. Hi All, also spoke to E-Bike Tec maybe 4/5 weeks back.Have a scott with cx gen 4 motor.First bosch ebike i own and coming from Spec emtb's with their app mist say was dissipointing to also run into walls with this one. Was told only bosch agents/Service center can do all ipdates and diagnostics on bike by Bike shops selling Scott with bosch, Ebike tec also said nothing in S.A. As we speak on my Samsung on app store this comes up??Would really like to do my own uodates and get more info on battery and motor health when I need it, At Home!!
  5. Not sure where to post this but just wanted to say thx to the gents at Ridgeway Cycles in Edenvale.I was looking for a seatpost and received a call from my add on Bikehub from them to say they have one for me.Whent to shop to collect and was brandnew and exactly what I wanted. Also gave me a good price on it.So if you need something from them give them a call. Many thx Ridgeway Cycles.
  6. Nice build love my ride.Tell me.What brake/shifter levers are those you used.I have the new shimano 12 speed slx groupset on my bike and would like to convert to dropbar. Are there actually shimano levers that can do this on 1x12 speed currently and also disc compatable.Regards

I also want one of these corner bars.So the last post about making them local let us know if it is going to happen or not please.Otherwise If someone is bringing in some from states let me know please.Maybe bulk order to split import and and costs?
  8. Where did you get a set of sram axs levers for 1 x?I have searched all over for a set of hydraulic brake/shift levers for my gravel bike but not one shop has a set.The only good reason for sam is all the axs parts can be mixed. So get a sram axs upgrade hit and then good luck finding axs rival/apex or force levers. And your stumpy looks super cool.
  9. Put one one and worth every penny. No more cables all over and shifting is fast and very good even under pressure on the pedals
  10. Hi Matt. Thx for the reply. To be honest not sure.Never had this in the past on my phone.Have a new s9 plus.Basically when I post an ad and then open the photos from my galary and select the pictures and then push on the blue button it doesn't want to start uploading any pictures. Transferred them to my pc this morning and did a edit on my ad and pictures started to download immediately. Same size as what was on my phone. O well dont know but at least via my pc it is on now. Regards Llewellyn

  13. Hi All. Was out this morning at the spruit for a nice ride and wow was I surprized with the new section with the berms and jumps.Actually we ended up taking a piece out of our normal trail and doing the berm/jump line a second time going back to sprocket and jack.Well done and awesome job to who did the build and your team members. So many more spots where we can make this happen.Lets hope jhb parks donate some more money to this awsome trail spot for all to enjoy.Have a lekke Dec all and keep building!!!!!
