Also went for a ride at Modders today, was surprized to see how many cars where parked at the entrance!! The trails are better than ever! The long grass gives the place a total different vibe. Felt like a kid with a new toy when I was riding there this morning!!

I have decided to give the ride a miss, after not riding since the last Nissan race I went for a ride around Groenkloof today... I battled to get around Groenkloof once!

Im going down to KZN on holiday from the 17th of December to the well i havnt decided when Im leaving yet haha. Planning to ride as much as possible. (Giba,Virginia farm, Lake eeland) and looking for more awesome trails.

I'd rather jump off a building for free before buying a road bike...

A few month back I was looking at buying a new 96 on clearance because of the 2013 models coming out, I was given a price of 16k... so 20k for a two year old is MAAAD!!! as mentioned previously stick to alloy if you buy second hand or find a nice new carbon bike. Edit: might have different components though but the 96 I looked at retailed for 26k before the clearance special.

Drank roughly 1l over 40km, doubt that was too much? Had cramp block as suggested on the pack... I'm guessing me weighing 104kgs might have something to do with it? Intervals?

Started cycling at the beginning of the year at trailseeker 1 and did all 5. Hakahana was definately the toughest by far! Did the first 31km in 2 hours (and that's where the fight started). The last 8km took me an hour with all the cramping! I guess all that cramp block I was swallowing didn't help me... Any suggestions on what else I can try to prevent cramping?
