Maybe we should all (PTA) chip in a put up an enormous sign outside Groenkloof warning that it isn't safe anymore. Danger!!! It seems like people just aren't getting the memo. I'm sure there will be the die hard people who think they are tough enough, and will "show them", and "not let the government/municipality/police" win but they they are free to sort it out with Darwin. I mean it would at least help to some extent protect the people who aren't on BikeHub who just don't know and are walking into that place blindly. I'm not saying all the other great initiatives to make it safe again must stop, its just that it isn't working right now.

Yeah nah... More evidence that putting a bigger number in front of something doesn't make it any better (if not worse).

My take on it is that classifying a person in binary terms as male or female is bound to be problematic, especially considering the full spectrum of variation across all dimensions. There are a couple of perspectives to this - biological, psychological, and the messiest of all when the previous two are combined. Is there a universally agreed upon list of criteria to be used to classify a person? Does it even really matter in the greater scheme of things?

I've never had any issues in the week.... there are usually a few people on the route, more so in the afternoons that the mornings.

Someone needs to put a massive sign up at Groenkloof warning everyone that they are taking a huge risk entering. It's just not worth it. Sad but true. I'd chip in for said sign. It seems like the right thing to do at this point. Far too many people are innocently entering for a day of activity not knowing the real risks.

Any body done some riding in and around Dikololo (outside Brits)? Their website doesn't provide much info, so I turn to you. Potentially going there this weekend, and would really like to take my mountain bike along. Trails would be great, but dirt roads will be fine too.

And then to complicate matters further...... it's not based on the actual letter (vowel or consonant) but rather on the "sound" of the letter.... http://grammar-monster.com/lessons/an_or_a.htm So... SQL as in sequel is a ss (consonant) sound, so "a" is used. SQL as in S-Q-L is a eh-ss (vowel) sound, so "an" is used. We're all welcome?!

I'd LOVE to hear what Makhaya Ntini (worst commentator in the world) has to say now, specifically regarding Tsolekile.... Listening to the commentary the other day during the Wanderers test he plain and simple would not shut up about him, complaining how he wasn't brought in instead of Dane Villas. Always punting a transformation agenda (hope he's happy in Zimbabwe now). I'd also love to hear what Tsolekile has to say for himself. My money is on some rubbish about how he was forced into it by the situation... A situation created by the racists who have conspired to exclude him from the South African team despite how awesome and in demand he is (enter worlds' smallest violin....)

Nothing other than pepper spray..... mostly for tsotsi's, but also helps for the occasional rabid giant dog (in an emergency only of course!).
