Got this yesterday. Park Tools workstand clamp. A friend made the stand and I just bought the clamp unit (with a benchmount base). Advantage over my old one is you can clamp onto the seatpost. My old one (Tork Craft), was not strong enough, and you have to clamp onto the top tube which interfers with the front derailleur cable, and prevents you from doing gear adjustments on the stand.

After seeing those Cape Town pics it seems churlish to post mine, such a disaster... unecessary fires, I hate them, with their destruction of small trees and animals to name just a couple of their impacts. However, we shouldn't forget, our Northern Farm gets burned every year with the same sort of consequences... less trees, less birds, less monkees etc. Rant over... back to my ride today... Spruit, Emmerentia Dam... they were making some sort of movie in the background...

They're quite common. New you're looking at around R11k - R12k for 29ers. Mine are 26" I bought both sets at around R4.5k second hand in excellent condition. The 29er SLR's have now been superseded by the "Mavic Crossmax SL Pro" which go for R15k a set!! On Evobike's web shop. I would just keep your eyes on the classifieds

I love em... you have three sizes to choose from.. race (slimmest), chunky, very chunky! Crank... XTR or carbon.. but expensive SRAM 1X11 but very expensive Concept Carbon handlebars at 155gms XTR pedals But all this stuff costs, your budget must decide

Been clean for about 21 years now, but was on 70 a day, if I had a late night. I battled to give up, tried 3 times until the final one. Some hints which might be useful for some. I set myself targets... first one to stop for 1 day, then 2, then a week, then 2 weeks, then a month, then 2 months etc. Also I ate a 3X mint every time I wanted a smoke, it's easier to give up 3X mints than smoking! Anyway, this worked for me. Smoking, apart from all it's well known issues is simply a huge nuisance, remembering to buy, cleaning up etc etc, doesn't even make you high... or drunk!
