  1. Bart Harmse and Hein Kroff released the combined road and track programme for 2008. (The latest version is available for download in xls format) latrinus emmer2007-11-01 00:35:49
  4. i recommend (personally) that you submit to your club, and they in turn to your province...
  5. hello all, a meeting with all provincial chairmen is on the cards for the same weekend as the 94 - kindly give it a couple of days for the final details...and i am sure it would be good to get all your qualms listed with your chairs.. i also like barry's way of thinking: submit some ideas and solutions etc related to all those issues.... sien julle more! carinus latrinus emmer2007-10-24 06:49:21
  6. i am attending an sa-mtb indaba in kzn, and these people are all great examples of how to run something quite well. latrinus emmer2007-10-05 03:02:30
  7. mallo, (thanks for calling me this morning to ask me to state the case) i do not really want to participate in this discussion, and would most prefer were this discussion to fizzle out a bit, and that the powers and systems in cycling address whatever issues there are.... my coo position came up for review, yes, after the president asked to me resign. he asked me to resign without stating reasons - subsequently, in an sms, he alluded to his reasons. amongst those reasons i saw no point in accepting an offer to resign, since it did not seems as if i was in breach of anything...(i am on a limited term contract till may 2008)... so....after a week or more of suspense/concern, i received another letter asking for an appointment with me, lw, and db....(and possibly sylvia) i have nothing further to report, on this matter, and must remind you that i am appointed to help wherever i can, introduce the online etc IT system, support the board, and be seen at events... let's get this topic to fizzle out a bit - and as soon as i may - i'll post an update.... (finally: wrt your collective concerns regarding the status quo at csa, or anything you might be unhappy with, why not try work from club to province to csa, to see whether those concerns can be addressed.....i guess a set of constructive letters outlining various issues would be best) pm or email me for private thoughts.... carinus latrinus emmer2007-10-04 03:09:28
  8. aangesien mtb en road eintlik 2 aparte dissiplines is gaan dit al hoe moeilker raak om hul datums "geskei" te hou - ek dink die tour de boland kan dalk die week voor die sani klaarmaak....

  19. your provinces might expect you to adhere to certain requirements in order to register a club - i know in boland a club needs to have a fixed nr of licensed riders...do not know whether they apply it all that firmly tho
  20. yes, but then it needs to register a club in every province, since a member would have to belong to a club in his province, etc....
  21. French team director Fr?d?ric Moncassin has announced his pick of riders going to the Stuttgart World Championships next week. Surprisingly, French Champion Christophe Moreau has not been included in the team, which gives the impression that Moncassin preferred current racing form to merit for his selection this year. The team captain of Ag2r Pr?voyance, who will be joining Continental Team Agritubel next year, has lost his pre-Tour de France drive lately and will therefore stay at home. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?id=news/2007/sep07/sep19news2
  22. Not to be too critical or anything' date=' but as far as I know that is simply not true. Used to be that a previous chairman of PPA owned part of WT, since then this was sold to the present owners of the company? I know that there has been serious consideration at some stage to have Championchip doing the timing for (a) the Argus, and (b) the local PPA races. While the first is certainly doable, the second is not: Championchip has no Cape-Town based operation.[/quote'] As far as I understand, WT is owned by Race Administration Systems, which is owned by PPA, Cycle Tour Trust and a few private people....
