We must have ridden together quite a bit. I was in black and white Assos kit on black and yellow Scott. Came from behind with the guy in the green kit. Was found out when I started the crosswind attack but could not sustain it and got dropped. Finished right behind you.

I passed many people on the second lap at Sun City today. As I approach I shout "hold your line. I am passing Right /Left". Then I pass on the ruff stuff. It just feels right.

The MTB certainly caught a few people on the shorter route out. Was 2 laps but I think it was a good MTB challenge. The first guys were lightning quick!! I always make a weekend of it - well worth it.

I had a mechanical after 100m. Was a very hard chase with a fellow late starter. Hard day out. 20min longer than last year. Finished in the bottom half of the theoretical start group. Now for the MTB.

The 1st break happens at 27km- guaranteed!

The MTB profile at registration is definitely a two lapper - damn! Road looks the same as last year.

That looks like the route from 2years ago. i hope it is not repeated, Last year we went out to a nearby Ranch for the more technical type stuff.

Retrocalcaneal Bursitis is a completely different diagnosis. It can be treated by several means. Also read up on "pump bumps" and Haglunds' deformity. All different pathology in the same area.

The pre-load on a muscle determines the power of contraction. The length of the tendon is paramount. "Conservative" treatment often is a misnomer. I don't know the Hub rules on pics of this nature but I have many. The tendon doesn't slowly rupture - it explodes. The Americans coined a term "frustrated healing" for the very chronic cases. I believe it is accurate. Too tired to lecture now but suffice to say all Achilles Tendon problems are not the same.

I will have to watch it a few more times to make sure.
