    Yes, he lives in SA and was studying at UCT at the time. WADA had flown somebody out to do the testing.

    A mate of mine used to play rugby for Germany. Was still an amateur side then (I believe it still is). One day he gets a knock on the door at 6am, standing there is an official from WADA coming for unannounced testing

    hmmm, good point. Interesting to know the exact reasoning for 14 March being the date

    According to his statement, he was tested out of competition, two weeks after coming out of ICU. Based on his statement, this would have been to the end of September 2013 (not much year left to compete to train and compete in anything). Thus 2014 would be a good cut off in terms of the sanctions.
