  3. Not a photos but photography related. Almost complete leather halfcase for my Olympus E-PL1 Going to redo stitching and couple other minor things
  4. Which one did you get? Really like the look of the A6000 also the A7s. Unfortunately out of my price range for now. Picked up an Olympus EPL1 for R1k and it's a great little camera which will tide me over for now.
  5. Just picked up a nice little Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera. Before I head off to Chinese websites, any of you guys know where I can get accessories in South Africa? (e.g.rear lens & body caps, lens adapters, etc.) Also looking for a 40.5mm lens cap Any suggestions?
  6. Who exactly are you referring to? You sure you got your facts straight about the reasons for contacting "the scientist"? Personally I don't see the fault in asking questions of SANP, even if they are difficult? Or even getting some objective opinions. Currently there appears to be 2 sides each with their own subjective views, there is possibly a more realistic reality somewhere in-between. Without debate and/or objective views this will not be found. Without the objectiveness and/or transparency there will always be questions asked. You shouldn't take a criticism of SANP as an attack on you.
  7. Because bikes are EVIL!!! didn't you know?
  8. I like the look of that!
  9. The link I posted earlier https://m.facebook.com/HumanWildlifeSolutions.SA/albums/566258916849806/?refid=56 3. Foraging for the Northern Region baboon troops Baboon rangers, BTT members, veterinarians and animal welfare experts are all evaluating the situation, on a daily basis. The assessment is that there is adequate food and plenty of water in running streams, for all four Northern Troops. 4. Plea to residents NOT to feed the baboons It is absolutely critical that residents do NOT start to randomly feed baboons in their gardens, natural areas or along the road with vegetables, fruits or ANY food. This will just encourage baboons to start raiding homes again. It is vitally important to encourage the baboons to continue foraging out of town. Research has shown that the fires stimulate plant growth and new growth. With the arrival of the first rains, bulbs will be easier to find and the foraging may be better than it was before the fires. Baboons are already benefiting from the first flush of green growth that has already occurred after the fire.
  10. What's wrong with asking questions and pointing out inconsistencies? 100%
  11. Deon, thanks for clarifying. Purely asking as I understood it to be opposite to the previous statement.
  12. Seems the Baboon people are allowed up https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.566258916849806.1073741833.208556399286728&type=1 Baboon rangers, BTT members, veterinarians and animal welfare experts are all evaluating the situation, on a daily basis. Any news as to when TokaiMTB will be allowed to check out the lay of the land firsthand?
  13. Then again R35k doesn't go that far
  14. Really? Haven't seen any news about that
  15. And that you can get a pro-rata refund
  16. He did also say that Silvermine wasn't really a safety issue, but experts need to check it out
  17. Deon, how often were the newsletters sent out before the fire? I received 2 in Feb (13th & 20th) but before that the last was in September.
  18. I thought so, keep an eye on them
  19. Been enjoying my Vigilante on the front. Have the Beeline on the back, which rolls quite nicely, though I have cut the sidewall once
  20. Are the frames of those glasses wood? If so it may be the sort a attraction my staffy Congo has towards ice-cream sticks. They get chewed to splinters
