  1. what do you want them to do for you.
  2. we are a group of cyclists who have been training every Tuesday & Thursday at 5.00am from Edgemead for the last 2 years. we have noticed quite a few lone riders out at that time as well and we invite anyone in the area to join up with us. the Tuesday route takes us down to Paarden Eiland and then to Big Bay - flat & fast (± 45 kms distance) Thursday , we do a 9 km circuit 4 times around Giel Basson, H Verwoed and Plattekloof (40 + k's) we have some young guns who are fast but also some more mature / experienced cyclists who consider consistent training to be more beneficial. around mid summer we average about 15 riders and mid winter between 4 to 8 depending on the weather. pm if you want to join us and i will add u onto our sms group.
  3. yep , true. can't understand the logic. the entries are so much cheaper. 5 road races & 1 hill climb (there are no crits)
  4. i saw an emai where City officials have refuted the rumours that the velodrome & the athletics track will be demolished. was a pleasant surprise to see a decent crowd at the drome on Friday night. imho, that is when track meetings should be held, on Friday nites , not on Tuesday nites when the youngsters must do homework and go to school the next day.
  5. great. thanks. i don't feel the need to spend almost 2 grand on a cassette and chain which imho won't improve mine or the bike's performance. veloce it is.
  6. i have a campy chorus groupset and need to replace cassette and chain. can i replace with the veloce?

the set of results that i received from the Officials says that O/riders 1 set off at 6 minutes after the 1st team started at 0 minutes and arrived back at 2hrs04.32 after the clock was started for the first team. deduct the 6 minutes off and you arrive at 1.58.32. same with O/riders 2 , they set off at 14 minutes and stopped the clock at 2hrs12.14, this is what i received from the officials. sorry if they messed up the times but i stood with them id'ing the teams as they crossed the line.
