100% agree, if I look down constantly I think, **** if I go harder I won’t recover and and and i ride for fun, results and improvements are secondary, but in all honesty 99% of the readers following this thread will accurately know looking back over a ride, where the went too hard and why they blew, in retro it’s always easy but after a few years most know when they have crossed the line

been watching bike theft in UK looks like we are actually "lucky" yes they dont kill over there but the numbers,,,mind blowing

Every now and then I pop in here and reading along the many chirps, very very few “clean” riders END up being CLEAN down the line many naive supporters are shattered, me I’m maybe pessimistic and negative but I like to think I’m realistic too much money too much ego too many variables out there tell me inevitably our heroes will bend because of XYZ and some supporters might be surprised some disappointed Me, I don’t think sport at that level can be clean, it can be “clean” with the tests available today, years later there is always a “new EPO” test????????‍♂️????????‍♂️
