  6. you will have to go far and wide to get away from the mud, I am in Serengeti and the rain has been Relentless for months, PTA gravel roads we rode last year are "washed away" I was in a 4x4 and I thought tick this section off my route on a few roads including some tar roads in PTA east my wife`s morning chore has been dumping pool water in the mornings

  8. I will take a taxi any day of the week over a White fortunner,,, as said above this is africa, intersections should be handled with caution irrelevant of robots color right of way, car or bike manufacturer (unless its a white fortunner)

  13. december I carried my bikes in and out of all my hotel stops, I wont leave it on a rack unless I can "sprint" to it, they are fast like lightning
  14. sorry for your loss my insurance covered my bike theft off a locked thule, they just wanted a photo of the damaged lock,,,luckily I had it on cctv also, but they didn`t even want to see that (mine was only locked on the thule arm) If you see how fast they remove a bike off a locked thule you wont even stop on the side of a road for a leak, its that fast I am confident enough to say he got it off quicker than me looking for the key unlocking and removing it
  15. as above, you may as well just throw the frame away if touch any of those braces. Other frames may not have them but the design of those frames have support built into them in different areas

    im pretty happy I took a tumble in December and I couldn`t ride, If I read the above as well as race reports from my mates, when I was sent pics pre start I must say I had some serious FOMO, NOT SO MUCH NOW🤪

  18. the petrol are cheaper to repair, but obviously not as good consumption
  19. in the motor industry (repair side of things) you get two types of caddy owners those who have zero issues, and those who hate them as costs to repair after warranty is insane I have a full workshop and I would love to have them in my fleet for consumption and safety(goods in transit) but repairs put me off, good luck lets hope you find a peach
