  1. Hmm, good point. Apologies.
  2. You make it sound like two separate steps. Counter steering to turn left, (at speed) you push on the left of the handlebar and you go left. It is one step.
  3. It is an all electric prototype bike. Check the link in Wayne's post
  4. It was all the gifs that you posted if that helps.
  5. Thought I'd try and see if I was able to upload your pics. http://awesomegifs.com/wp-content/uploads/64560968-photo.gif
  6. Using Firefox
  7. None of us can.
  8. I was thirsty... so I went to fill my bottle up at home. About 8 of us rode to the race and back together to make it a good training ride.
  9. We hooked it right there. A few of my mates also turned left by mistake.
  10. Apologies Just keep at it and you'll start seeing some great results.
  11. Comparing our rides I can see where guys went wrong. http://app.strava.co...vities/58953987
  12. Awesome race but there was a stuff up at the sharp end of the race. We started passing guys that we knew were behind us and so we asked what distance they had ridden, all the guys we passed had done 3km less due to a wrong turn within the first 17km. Made my blood boil a bit since we were lying around 10th overall before we started passing about 15 guys over the 2nd half of the race but managed 20th in 2h06 riding 52.2km. The USN races are still my favourite as it favours the well rounded riders.
  13. You should have gone with a 20" tube rather, but if you aren't experiencing loss of pressure in the long term (3 days to a week) then it doesn't matter although it would weigh less.
  14. Did you get your new MTB and then upgrade to XX1 or did you get your first MTB with XX1? It's probably a setup issue. And usually I find that I crank out heavier gears on my road bike then I do on the MTB.
  15. First make sure that it is not your cable housings or brake hoses rubbing on one another.
  16. I did ride it today. Was a stuff up though, I was one of the few that did the correct route with no wrong turns. We started passing guys that we knew were behind us, they had turned wrong somewhere and cut off 3km of the route. That aside, what an awesome race. I came in at 52km in 2h06 and was delayed for a minute after hitting the deck at 30km/h 18km in. Plus I rode 21km to get there.
  17. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy the USN Cup races, they are at least 90% single/jeep track. Those with less technical skills fall behind while those with better skills and power/fitness are able to do well. Plus it's an awesome way to push hard and you tend to force yourself to ride right at the edge of your comfort zone if not beyond it.
  18. That seems like a tall order in my case, I'd have to continuously ride at 160bpm. I can't see me maintaining that intensity day after day, maybe every second day. Plus I still jog 30min 5-6 times a week. But I'll give it a go after Rooiberg.
