  1. Great doccie, there is one from about 5 yrs earlier but the name escapes me now...... Great race last night btw
  2. I used Sketchup, it is an amazing tool. Can create cutting lists if you understand the clearances for blade thicknesses for example. But, good old pencil and paper works a treat too. I am busy "creating" bar stools. Will save like R50 a stool but its the experience of making the stool.
  3. That is very well done. There will always be things "you would/could do better", but honestly it is fine. Did you use a 3D program to mock it up, or did you build as you went?
  4. Send this to your buddy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:286632
  5. Just curious, it looks light but with steel it probably wont be....
  6. Hopefully he has signed a power of attorney to someone local, that could help.
  7. I enjoyed the San Marino GP. Great ride by Pecco again, somebody needs to start putting pressure on him now that the Ducati turning is sorted. Bastianini also rode very well, he surely needs a factory bike. Showing up his team mate, as expected. Marquez rode a very good race considering his condition. Is there a more unlikable champion in Quarterpounder?? Also think Brad is doing well on a bike that seems to be struggling a bit. Those concessions taken away is affecting their development I think.
  8. What does that weigh, looks svelte......
  9. Having just registered a trailer, same principle, you will only need a certified copy of his ID. I may be wrong, but that is all I had of the previous owner of the trailer and just road worthy and straight through registration.
  10. Yamaha retirement plan in action again I see........
  11. Edge of the seat stuff, started getting a bit irritated by the BT Sport commentary almost willing Marc to crash and take Pecco out. Yes, they kept saying they hope it doesn't happen, but they were persistent. Pecco rode a master class though, INTENSE RELENTLESS pressure. That and them blowing Dixon's performance up, then he crashed and they were making excuses......
  12. Sorry hasty typing, I am referring to Lewis's 10 second penalty at Silverton for a "similar" offence. Yes the Monza one looks so much worse and more dramatic, but look at the damage to Max's car after the Silverstone shunt. Smacks of "rules for thee, but not for me". Same thing happens in MotoGP with Marquez, some of his moves for sure deserve penalties but rarely get given.
  13. Yeah, much more of a punishment than an in-race 10 second penalty.....
  14. I for one can't wait for all the Fenix 6's that will be going up for sale soon, that will become more affordable for us plebs.......
  15. More details please @Eddy Gordo
  16. Probably the worst kept secret, can't see it NOT happening. Merc will lose Russell otherwise.
  17. Makes sense that Lyndon is "on it", it is essentially a restyled/rebranded KTM 890.
  18. Try a local market, there is one in Pretoria and an old man makes wooden toys. He might be interested. Perhaps you should post a few pics, someone here may take them to tinker with. I might even......
  19. He has to find those limits again, it is how he always raced. His crash in the race was a bit poor. Looks like the red mist descended a bit. The gap was there but he should have known that squeezing on the brakes that early was going to end badly. With Aleix getting a podium I reckon Vinales must be delighted at this new Aprilia ride.
  20. They will race, just the next day being Monday. Or am I misunderstanding your reply?
  21. Yes and no I suppose. I fine piece of cabinetry, where the drawers and joints are all dove-tailed. One has been done meticulously by the carpenter using a saw and chisel, the other done using a perspex template and router. The outcome is the same, and at times the price, but was the same "artistry" involved??
  22. I think, personally, that the extensive use of the extrusions like that is a way of cheating, or dumbing down the skills needed to do it properly. It is the same as saying digital art is on the same level as an artist who literally puts oil to a canvas. It is not the same.
  23. While looking at the link, which is short on pictures, I saw this at the bottom: https://www.visordown.com/reviews/first-ride/sunra-miku-super-2021-electric-motorcycle-road-test-and-review Looks super interesting...........
  24. What is you weekly goal if I may ask, having not missed any weeks?
  25. @carrera4s would be the man for this I recken.
