  1. Cois, since your initial message today you have been on my mind all day. You are in my thoughts, as much as those little words can help. Thoughts and prayers to your missus too, I know it is equally as tough for those who are not going through but with you every step of the way.
  2. Ducati have never managed their riders well. Their best bike/rider combination is at Pramac, their "test" team. Watch them bugger that up too....... It's what they deserve for they way they have treated their riders in the past.
  3. So these are pretty damning IMO. Watch jacks eyes, he looks over to see where Mir is, who happens to also run wide. Jack then deviates from his ideal line to intentionally run Mir off the track. Mir is simply trying to stay on the track. In the race they even showed Jack gesturing to Mir to stay out of his way. Insane!! All of this is down to the hype around Jack and his factory ride. This all started from the earlier contact between them which happens pretty much every single race. Its what happened between Brad and Vale last week, and will happen the next race again......
  4. Tyres again hey, he pushed too hard in the beginning I think. To stick in the front group. The pace was quicker than last weeks race. The bump was 100% intentional, Jack squeezed Mir off the track. There is a pic of Jack leaning into Mir while Mir is on the line. I cannot believe that didn't get a penalty. Rubbings racing, but not when it involves deliberately forcing a competitor off the track. Big up to Brad, 8th is basically a win on that KTM with these tyres at this track!!!!!
  5. Was a great weekends racing. The Suzuki's could have won if they didn't get involved in all the argy bargy stuff. You see pics of Rins's leathers after the race, lots of rubber. I suppose the other question is your thoughts on the Mir/Miller incident??
  6. At least we all seem to agree on Moto2. The rest should make for an interesting debrief on Monday/Tuesday......
  7. I once did a job in Tanzania for MSF. They gave me a driver for the trip from Dar to Mbeya which was awesome to relax and see the sites. Or so you would think. The vehicle, an Avanza type van, was restricted to 80kmh with an alarm at 80kmh they beeped incessantly. A normal person would drive at like 78/79kmh, not my sadistic driver. He rode flat foot all the way, seemingly spurred on by the constant beeping!!!! I thankfully had earphones and an iPod.
  8. Lets see the predictions guys: Acosta Lowes Rins
  9. That is my fear too, lady alone in some pretty remote places. In a country that has zero respect for a female, generally speaking. Scary.....
  10. As long as you know the number one when it comes to traffic in Africa, "Might has right". The bigger the car, the more say they have. Don't pick a fight with a truck............
  11. Can say the same for Nairobi, CHAOS!!!!!!
  12. Wish I spoke or understood Spanish so I could follow his new 99 seconds blog where he reviews races. Could be interesting......
  13. Have to agree, our son had one till around 2.5yrs old and then he outgrew it. He flew with the thing though. Not well made for the price either, needed fixing till it broke beyond repair. I did buy it used for R600 though and the wheels are now on a steel framed push bike from Toys R us.....
  14. ChrisF, out of interest have you found shops listed as private sales? I remember, some time ago, that I found a few of these and it was frustrating.
  15. A broken clock is also right twice a day..........
  16. Shows how much F1 I watch lately, as you were...........
  17. And Jorge still tuned him *** about it........

  19. Jip, thats why I say they may improve based off of the data from the last race but Qatar is their bogey track. Never done well. Both Oliviera and Brad complained about the front tyre going off by mid race. More than likely what led to his bumping Rossi, who in turn was complaining about rear end grip. The conditions last night were also not great, probably why "flash in the pan Miller" was nowhere really.
  20. KTM do not have issues, they just do not gel with the Qatar track. I think they will improve next weekend but that will be top 10 maybe. In Jerez they will be back..... The Aprilia's are nice and I think at this stage they would be better off with Dovi on it, even with zero mileage, than continuing with Savadori
  21. Mazepan has officially completed more formation laps than race laps at this point in time. Money can buy the car, but it cannot drive it......
  22. Vinales could finish 15th next week and no-one would be surprised. Let's see what happens next. My money is on a Suzuki win. I see Franco had his bikes holeshot device malfunction, was stuck in squat mode I believe. What you get when you are the last Yamaha in the pecking order I suppose.
  23. After my response above and thinking a bit more. F1 many years ago allowed drivers to use the curb and then some. Bad call I think. That being said the pressure pads could be put at exact points accounting for the cars width it they were straddling the curb. I just think the FIA cannot run this series properly, they haven't for some time which is why the racing has stagnated. Dorna can be commended for the turn around in MotoGP, an example of how good F1 could become again with good rules and implementation.
  24. I like the new MotoGP innovation where they put pressure pads on the outside in the green areas, immediately know when someone has strayed a bit. They also have strict rules, 3 times you get a warning on the dash, 2 more times and you get a long loop penalty. Don't take that and you get time added. A lot more fair.
  25. And from every angle so no doubt around the condition. Seen ads where areas seem to be intentionally missed.......
