  1. One wonders if baby Schleck has learnt to ride a TT though? Shame would really like to see the guy back in contention again.
  2. Froome actually made this victory look too easy. But for his unselfishness while trying to get Porte a stage victory, he would have won stage 7 as well.
  3. I was more impressed that with Alonso after he moved from 6th to 2nd in a race where very few other drivers managed even one overtake.
  4. And there is a breakaway of 15 including the polka dot jersey that are 3:15 clear after 19km.
  5. Incredible! I only see Froome getting stronger and if I was a betting man I'd put money on that whinging Pom Wiggins leaving Sky next season.
  6. Exactly what this guy said!
  7. I've got a sneaky suspicion that todays finish will be one for Rodriguez...
  8. Definitely todays finish makes it a big day for the climbers and then the key stage will be Saturdays stage 7 when they have Alpe d’Huez/Col de Sarenne amongst other big climbs and although I think the GC will be decided by Sunday, it also looks a tough stage. Tomorrow is the only real sprinters stage of the race. I'll be surprised if a breakaway survives today as it's rather short with a brutal HC finish.
  9. A colleague of mine was in Louis Trichardt yesterday and apparently it was 36°C. So thermal under garments are probably not the best idea for stage 2 I see the numbers are out.
  10. HAHAHA very good! Yeah today should be a good stage and I have no doubt that many an anti diuretic were ingested after the peloton saw that HC mountain top finish.
  11. I just use tire liners and haven't had a MTB puncture in over a year. *Touch wood*. You sure it's not a valve issue?
  12. Maybe Contador inadvertently got his saddle stuck up his a#%?

  14. Dennis actually looks a bit shell shocked on the podium. Apparently he went out today hoping to take the white jersey.
  15. 4 riders from Sky in the top 6 of the GC! WOW what an incredible team.
  16. He is a young Aussie badass who apparently once got thrown out of the Australian young cyclist academy for being a party animal. Rides for Garmin.
  17. Rohan Dennis takes the yellow and white jersey! Impressive!!!
  18. He was a net 4" up on Dennis at check 2 and Dennis finished very quickly, so it will be Dennis in Yellow 7" ahead of Froome.
  19. Sky have 4 riders inside the top 10 for the stage.

  21. Contador 58th fastest, 3:37 down on Martin!
  22. Froome was third fastest, 7 seconds slower than Dennis.
  23. 1. Martin 2. Dennis 3. Froome As Porte passes Contador!
  24. Dennis takes yellow!
  25. I heard Contador shouting "Tráeme carne española" over his team radio, That translates to something like "Bring me some Spanish beef". Not sure what that is about...
