  1. If you are a jersey holder, you are also expected to pose with the mayor for photographs...
  2. This is the most confusing thread on the Hub... I predict Lance Armstrong will win stage 12 of the 2005 Giro....
  3. Froome was merely showing his strength to his opponents and giving them something to have nightmares about, there is no way he would want to wear yellow in the first week of the tour.
  4. Today is a stage that will definitely suit a rider like Daryl. Sadly from stage 4 he will quickly disappear from the top 10 when his teams lack of time trailing ability will be exposed.
  5. I did as well, but mainly because at the moment it's the only way anyone can beat a Red Bull. It also keeps the championship race open-ish.
  6. I'm just waiting for the mountains/TTT/Cav to arrive
  7. Surely the guy who went with Sagan should be the winner then? Also I suggest the rules be clarified that each member can have one pick or I might as well just select all 198 riders for tomorrows stage
  8. Thanks Gerald for the great work every year!
  9. Umm I appear to be missing from the updated list after havin been in the original one. Please Hook a brother up G
  10. I'm not sure which is uglier, Radioshacks baby sh*t blue coloured Treks or those Spezialized skateboarding helmets.
  11. Jens Voigt - RadioShack
  12. How scandalous... at the age of 9, Peter was already drinking beer and using pirated/copied CD's...
  13. Done, just because cycling safely and initiatives such as building a cycling network with bike lanes doesn't excise in Joburg.
  14. So on a 100% sprinters stage where Cav, Greipel and Sagan are taken, there isn't much reason to reply to this topic I guess. But for a laugh I'll go for the hopeless Matthew Goss - Orica-GreenEDGE
  15. *edit rider taken
  16. Bunch of muppets!
  17. Hey Hubbers, As most of you are already aware, there is a hot new bicycle shop called Ridgeway Cycling Concept opening in Greenstone, Modderfontein in the next month or so. If there are any bicycle mechanics out there that might be interested in working there please PM me and I'll get you in contact with the guys from Ridgeway. Cheers
  18. I pretty much over Championchip myself, particularly the fact that most all of their races have no seeding value.
  19. What bikes you looking for and any particular brands? Ridgeway will be stocking Bianchi, Trek, Merida, Titan, Fuji & GT. I think there may be more coming, so will keep my ear to the ground. # Note to the Ridgeway guys... Please get Cannondale's... nudge nudge.
  20. If you were a French flag bearer who had been drinking for the last 24 hours, would you be able to hang 3 flags the right way up? Luckily Toyota's Japanese flag was a win win.
  21. Obviously Milan-Sanremo was a major success, but they have also been a little disappointing at times such as the Tour of Korea and the Gabon race where they really should have dominated. I guess this year is is a building block towards next year and their aim is said to be the Giro 2014.
  22. HAHAHA good point!
  23. Ridgeway is a sportsbar in Stoneridge centre, Greenstone... It's proximity to the new bike shop is perfect as now while my bike is being washed/serviced post ride I can now sneak off for a quick beer
  24. And can he climb Alpe d'Huez... Twice in one day, after nearly 3 weeks of riding a tour
