Congrats man!

We had a great day out on the bike. On of the men and two of the ladies in our team started suffering as we entered Golden Gate. With a bit of walking and a bit of encouragement they made it over the climbs and back to Clarens in 6h45. All 12 that started together, finished together. Will definitely be back next year

I am sure Frosty will also add but if I may.. Lot of times the club members ride together helping some of the weaker or newer members. So they will control the pace to make sure everyone finishes together. But I agree with your cousin...that was a pretty shocking thing that you guys did

Hahaha thanks Frosty, no need to say sorry. It was my own fault, was caught napping and should have been more towards the middle of the bunch approaching that turn. Who was in front as we turned right just after Carnival? Pace was insane for a good 2 or 3 km before it calmed down again for a bit.
