Spray some WD40 or Q20 as close to the threads as you can, leave to soak and try again, careful not to strip the allen bolt heads, otherwise only option will be to drill them out. can use a drill press with a very strong clamp to stop the shoe from moving
As a retailer of 20 odd years, returns do happen, suck it up or lose the customer, i cannot think of any customer i would ever have charged a handling fee to return anything, as long as it is in original packaging and not destroyed. Be reasonable. Please name the shop as i would like to avoid it in the future.

I had an absolutely awesome day. Missed the cow batch start, but started with another herd and the makro ice cream bike, gave them a push up the hill but was aiming for a good time for my better half. We were the crazy cows mooing and making a noise the whole way Thanks to the organisers and all involved on a well run and organised event. Looking forward to see what venue is chosen for next year. Hopefully the route will not be changed too much as it can be used as a yard stick for a lot of people for their improvements. Well done to all finishers Anyone have any news on the condition of the two people that were on the floor just after the tequila stand? Looked quite bad
No, i rarely trust anyone to work on my bike besides myself and i doubt many people will let someone pick up their bike and transport it elsewhere. Insurance would have a field day with that
