  1. I ride with all my spares in a saddle bag, do not really care what others think, maybe it is just that they want to look like pros(who do not ride with spares) Some people also get a Camelbak with extra pockets for the spares
  2. Solomons in Woodmead had last time i was there
  3. Am so glad i didn't have a mouthful of liquid when i read that one
  4. Yeah, my car has a frameless rear window... Making it that i cannot hang a rear rack on the bike, and due to the body kit i have, i cannot put a tow bar, so i was pretty stuck with using a roof rack, happy that i got it, am very conscious of the bike on the roof when i drive, so no hassles with low bridges, petrol stations etc
  5. With the designs of some of the frames it can take long to mount a couple of mtb on a hanging rack
  6. I just have to laugh at people with the rear hanging type racks, takes so long to get multiple bikes mounted.... Roof rack... Takes me less than 2 minutes to put two bikes on my roof....
  7. LBS = Local bike shop FS = Full suspension Hard tail = bike with no rear suspension (normally with front shock, but not always, if no front suspension, often called a rigid bike) Hope that helps
  8. LOOK...any of them....ride them on my road bikes(KEO) and on my mtb(Quartz), look(scuse the pun) forward to getting S-Tracks one day
  9. Why not just use satellite speed? On auto setting it will adjust your speed sensor to be more accurate
  10. That is just wrong on so many levels
  11. Crap...down to 5
  12. One word...Warranty...if it ever came out that you built it and not the shop if there was a failure they would fight you
  13. I would use brake cleaner on my bike frame... Eeek.... Bit harsh
  14. No ANT+ built in, so no cadence, or HRM, useful info for analysing your rides, just my two cents, it is well worth the extra to get a 500 over the 200....did the comparisons when i got mine...
  15. Am sure there must be a way to split the pipe, add a Y splitter in cable and have a valve to moderate the percentage of braking to front/rear... The quantity of fluid to move the pads is minimal so should be quite easy to put something together at a good hardware store
  16. Comparing the bomber against a three bike roof mount system.... Roof rack(genuine) R3000 Roof rack bike mount rail(thule or similar) R1500 each(very generous low price) R7500 Bomber - R7700 And the bomber can be fitted to many cars at a few mins notice Really not that ridiculously priced when you run the numbers
  17. Rofl, i have 5 seats, a roof rack and plenty space for bikes...
  18. Leave your boyfriend at home... *runs*
  19. Got there a little late, very festive event, thanks to Procycles i got to test ride a couple of the Giant 27.5 bikes...amazed at how different the Trance and Anthem are in their ride.... All in all had a blast, and enjoyed the changes in the track, a couple of quick rides around the start red section and a full ride of yellow/red as well....most enjoyable afternoon
  20. Finally got myself a GoPro....went for a test ride and am gonna really enjoy future footage Thanks CWC
  21. Local bike shop.... Is always going to be an issue buying online, trust the guy a bit if he has a good rating.. This is why deal feedback is so important
  22. I run a 2.5 Conti Mountain King up front and Nobby Nick PaceStar 3. 2.25 rear... Very happy and haven't noticed any excessive wear on any surface... Tyre is wearing extremely well
